"Serial adultery" by Donald Trump is just one of the reasons why U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, said Monday he would never publicly endorse the GOP front-runner if he goes on to win the Republican nomination for president.
"That is one of hundreds of things that are disconcerting about Donald Trump," Brooks, who endorsed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, told AL.com. "If the voters knew Donald Trump's background, what he intends to do as president, I am very confident you would have a mass exodus from Donald Trump's support base. And it might be his gutter-mouth tendencies. I don't want in the White House someone who in front of little children on national television uses the kind of profanity that Donald Trump uses."
Trump had cheated on his first wife, Ivana Trump, with actress Marla Maples, and then eventually divorced his wife for Maples. The businessman has also bragged about sleeping with married women in his book, "Trump: The Art of the Comeback."

The Governor sure walked on that slimy affair didn’t he.
Another RINO endorses Trump!
I do wish there was a younger, more energetic man running. But I guess that is not to be.
Brooks is a Rino? But he didn’t endorse Trump.
Brooks and Sessions are two Alabama Republicans whom I respect greatly.
“Then you’ve got the public policy issues where Donald Trump is a notorious flip-flopper on a myriad of different issues,” he said. “It is only a little bit of an exaggeration to say that Donald Trump has taken virtually every position liberal, moderate, conservative or otherwise on every public policy issue that exists. Nobody knows what Donald Trump would do with any degree of certainty because Donald Trump is all over the map on every issue.”
This is the reason why I think conservatives who support Trump will have buyer’s regret. But it will be too late then - for all of us.
Word to Mo: The Victorian Age ended in the 19th Century.
None here will achieve perfection in the eyes of everyone at the same moment.
I’m making a cartoon about hip hop onions called The Rap Scallions. Do you want to help?
“Maybe because Mo Brooks is owned by The Cheap Labor Express”
That kind of foolish, hateful comment seems to be the default response of too many of Trump’s supporters.
Brooks is probably in the top 5 most conservative members of the House. Economics degree from Duke. The liberals in Alabama HATE him.
Thanks for a thoughtful reply!
So much to think about.
Oh. A wiseguy, huh?
I don’t expect perfection, but if adultery is a big deal to conservatives when Bill Clinton does it, why not when Trump does it?
Maybe Trump has turned over a new leaf. He stays pretty busy these days.
Mo Brooks is a rock ribbed conservative congressman from northern Alabama. Very well respected, sort of the way Jeff Sessions is, but he’s more strident. His non-endorsement is mosly inside AL baseball but an interesting contrast to Sessions for those familiar with the characters.
“Another RINO endorses Trump!”
Could you be more wrong?
Brooks is not a Rino. He is a conservative Republican who replaced a moderate Democrat who held that Congressional seat for years.
Brooks says he will not support Trump (not an endorsement).
Sort of curious that Sessions did.
I'm voting Cruz. If Rubio or Kasich or Carson is the nominee, I'll vote for them as well, although reluctantly. With Trump? Forget it. He lost me for good with Planned Butcherhood.
I am having a hard time with his appearance. Like why is he a complexion not found in human nature, and why is hair like that? I mean, how can you explain it? It’s pretty darn weird when you think about it. Why would someone do that to themselves?
Freegards
Yep. Because he surrounded himself with Dem advisors. When you have a governor who was supported by the NEA (AEA) when he ran......
I wasn’t sure so I went and had a look at his voting recored and he seems to be on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
The difference as I see it is that Clinton’s was ongoing and in the White House. I don’t think Trump will be using interns for humidors in the Oval office.
This election may be the last chance we have to elect a President that will preserve the rule of law and the country for the citizens.
We have been forced to vote for amnesty candidates in every election since the last amnesty.
They will do whatever it takes to prevent us from keeping our country.
Maybe we could get Mo Brooks to run next time!
