Sample Size: 400 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Republican primary voters living in Texas (321 self-reported Republicans and 79 self-reported independents and Democrats.

Interesting that the poll has a full 20% of the likely GOP voters as independents or democRATs and that 20% is heavily skewed (37% support) towards Trump. I'm not saying this makes the poll wrong, just that the implication is interesting if it holds up in the actual election.

They include Independents and Dems because it’s a semi-open primary. A Dem can go in and say he’s a Republican and vote for Trump. Then he can switch back in 2018 for primaries

They only poll Texans who are stupid enough to answer. Everybody I know hangs up.
