They include Independents and Dems because it’s a semi-open primary. A Dem can go in and say he’s a Republican and vote for Trump. Then he can switch back in 2018 for primaries

I’m in Texas, so I understand the open primary. But a 20% crossover? I think that would be unusual. But there is nothing usual about this election, so.....
