Offending somebody worse than Trump. Now THAT takes some doing!!!

Funny that anyone believes that Butterball went to Trump because of what Rubio did.
Butterball’s career in politics is over, so he hitched onto the Donald because he thinks it’s a winning team and because Trump offered him a position in a Trump government.

Christie is there for a job...either AG or Homeland Security.
He is also insurance. If Bloomberg enters the race....his gameplan will involve winning heavily in both New Jersey and New York....to subtract from Trump’s potential. With Christie in the background...Bloomberg will be meeting major-league action and loosing on the news media front of New York and New Jersey.

From the link.....
A perceived insult by Marco Rubio fueled Gov. Chris Christies bombshell endorsement of Donald Trump, the New York Times reports.
Rubio placed a condescending call to ask for the governors backing after Christie dropped out of the presidential race. The 44-year-old candidate all but patted Christie, 53, on the head in a voicemail message, saying he had a bright future in public service, sources told the Times.
The message infuriated Christie, who blamed a Rubio-boosting super PAC for a spate of negative ads that dashed the governors White House hopes.

I’m no Rubio fan but that corrupt Jersey Shore loon never had a prayer to begin with, no one “dashed” his chances.
My goodness, I detest that lardball.

What a thin-skinned opportunist Christie is, just like the man he endorsed. Just like he got Obama re-elected in 2012 by hugging him a few days before the election just because he was mad at Romney for not choosing him to be VP.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
I was watching the live feed & Trump didn't sound dismissive at all to me. Christie still supporting Trump so it's a nothing burger IMO.

It shows Rubio has no deft ability at diplomacy or negotiations. Imagine Rubio infuriating a head of state that way and screwing the US over that way.

There is no call Rubio could have placed that would have placated Christie. According to Christie himself, the underlying concept of a younger man making him that kind of offer was offensive.
Says a lot more about Christie than it does about Rubio.
To: Bruce Campbells Chin
No, it shows Rubio has no sense of these things.
