Will he ever mention Sessions? Probably nominally.
Hey all!
Rush said he holds confidence when someone asks him to stay quiet. I csn understand and agree with the premise, but when the confidence is a conspiracy to commit a traitorous act, and have no doubt that amnesty is traitorous, if one chooses to remain quiet, it shows a lack of character and a desire for personal gain.
Hence, i am no longer listening to Rush from this day forward.
His actions anger me. Seriously, i now hate him. Please let me know if he ever apologizes. If he does, i will forhive and listen again.
Adjectives aside...
Or, as some would say, he is explaining what happened to all who complained that he was secretly meeting with Grahamnesty. But the only truthful explanation is already determined, so no matter what Rush says, people assume he is lying.
Even the part where he repeated that all the illegalls should be barred from voting for ten years, to kill the bill. That part, though also stated on the radio at the time, is a lie, according to the New York Times staff on this site, because he said it to them in private at the dinner.
Not likely.
You gotta figure Rush is worth between 1/2 a billion and a billion bucks.
Try and buy/compromise someone like that. It's hard to do and usually they tell you to go pound sand.
Rush has built a radio empire based on his opinion and his credibility. It's not likely he will just give it up for his most hated foes the GOPe.
Its also not likely he gets on here and lies to us every day. I am not buying that.
Will he get off the road and maybe support a candidate when he should not,yes but he got right back on after a few days. I'm still buying what he sells. And when I don't you will know.
It’s what all of us do to stay informed. Including, as it turns out, the very poster who wanted to know if any of us had read the bill.
................................. Exactly, there is a huge difference between reporting what is going on and actually believing it.Rush will let you know when he believes it.
Why eat with them at all?
[He said Rubio never came up]
No doubt. He was probable busy under the table.
Rush, Why did you go to the dinner? It caused a rift between you and your audience. Is it worth it, Rush.
Wow. So many on this thread are “done with Rush” now. Guess only a handful of us will be showing up on the daily Rush thread from now on... ;-)
He was eating dinner with him wasn't he?
I do not believe that at all.
Laura gets Trump on immigration. She is filleting Fox and the establishment.
I listened to Rush until he went on to the Oscars. Who cares.
The point is that for all of you New York Times supportbots to trash Rush for eating a supper with political opponents is the most asinine syllogism I’ve heard on hear. The discussion of political positions on amnesty is just that. And there is no evidence from any remarks made by Rush, that he is in support of amnesty.
I wonder if Trump ever has lunch with people with whom he disagrees? I don’t hear about it, so if he did, it can only mean he is making deals with them...have I got the reasoning down now?
“Why has this bill not passed if the ability to persuade is so easy?”
Because there has been a massive grassroots uprising against amnesty every time it has come up since Dubya tried to ram it through.
A grassroots uprising where Rush has all too often been MIA.
Was Limbaugh wrong to attend the dinner? I don't think so. Was he wrong to agree to off the record? I assume that Limbaugh attended off the record conversations on the other side, too. Perhaps not at a posh restaurant, maybe on the golf course. We don't know what other confidences he's kept.
I never trust Democrats. Harry Reid weaponized trust, with all the deals he's reneged on after securing Republican votes. I'm not surprised that they used Limbaugh's trust against him just before Super Tuesday to try to dishearten and dispirit Republican resolve.

From experience its impossible to do three hours of radio a day and never make a mistake, even Rush makes them.
Oh yes there is no doubt because what you believe is not true. there is no doubt about that. You have been duped
Jesus ate with Prostitutes, but he did not believe in the work in order to do it.
A meal is evidence of hunger or politeness, and the invitation was only made because they felt Rush was a threat to passing the bill, which turned out to be true.
FWIW, he featured my book in the Limbaugh Letter in his interview-—and we never asked.
