I had open heart surgery five years ago. The cardio surgeon had two younger surgeons to do the drudge work of thoracic opening & closing. He worked his magic in between their efforts. They were both obviously Muslim.

I know you’re getting beaten up just now but you’re correct. We don’t benefit from taking a vacation from the constitution because one group of people have a religion which, taken to its core meanings and demands on the individual is violent, particularly toward non believers. The USA is approaching a point already reached by Thailand. There the longest resident Muslims are “Jin Haw” or descendants of Chinese Merchants over the last 400 years or more. Many of them have converted to Buddhism and the others are truly the elusive moderate Muslim. Certainly they aren’t up tight about others behavior and don’t follow the dress codes, etc. They do follow the dietary restrictions sort of but generally will eat some pork and shellfish.
The other two major groups are big problems. First the Malay jihadists kill on a daily basis Buddhist and Muslims who cooperate with the government. They are some three percent of the population. The second group are resident foreign Muslims who have the same proportions of hard core as does Europe. The “new” terrorist group out of the foreigners are the West Chinese Uyghurs. The committed the recent down town Bangkok bombing that killed twenty.
Young people of all the groups are subject to much ISIS propaganda and the Internet Cafes are meeting spots. This internet schooling and associations are a big part of America’s problem.
America is similarly a mixed bag with more recent immigrants and jail house converts more likely to act on their hatred. You’ve got to think that an influx of refugees from Syria is a bad idea unless you limit it to Christians who are thoroughly vetted. I’m sur there are some good people in the remainder but how can even a close vetting tell. Islam is a witches brew that doesn’t always work but it’s hard to tell individually.
All this nanny needs to do is run to the US embassy in Moscow and demand that Obama give her asylum and guest worker visa by executive order. I’m sure he’ll happily oblige, saying that her actions are just the understandable lashing out of an oppressed minority.
It's true that every race/ethnicity/religion has its share of murderers and other criminals, as well as its share of good people. The question is whether there are enough good people in the community to act as an effective counterweight to the thugs and murderers. Among American Christians there are, I'm not sure the same is true in most Muslim societies.
It's all well and good to say that we should judge everyone as an individual, but the reality of things like immigration policy don't give us that luxury. If you're starving, and you have the choice of eating beans from a jar where a tiny fraction are poisoned vs. one where a majority or substantial minority are poisoned, which would you choose?

It’s not a race or a religion. It’s a psycho-social system that is antithetical to everything American. It is primarily political movement that is sworn to the violent overthrow of all other political structures.
My distrust of Islam comes not from ignorance or some ideological bias, but from taking them at their word. The Muslims divide world only into two categories: the Dar al- Islam, the House of Islam the Dar al-harb, the House of War.
The arrogance of Western liberals surpasses that of the most bigoted Cowboy. At least they respected the Indians as warriors. Even the liberals waited a respectful time before proposing the myth of the noble savage.
Your assertion that my characterization of Muslims would apply to “Anyone!” is ridiculous. I do not know of any other religion or ideology that professes lying and killing as virtuous. If you mean that “Anyone!” to mean any Muslim, you are absolutely correct.
