Donald Trump increased his lead atop the GOP presidential field in a new national poll, attracting 49 percent support among Republican voters.
Trump holds a 33-point lead over his closest competitor, Marco Rubio, in a CNN/ORC International poll released Monday morning, one day before ballots are cast on Super Tuesday.
Rubio has 16 percent support in the new poll, followed by Ted Cruz with 15 percent, Ben Carson with 10 percent and John Kasich with 6 percent.
Trump and Rubio gained 8 points apiece since a similar poll in late January, while Cruz lost 4 points.

Dimocrats don’t watch Fox and now a lot more Republicans don’t watch Fox. Fox, a legend in their own minds.
This can’t be true Rove said he peaked two weeks ago and will now start to fall in support.
Karl Rove’s markers have dried out. ;-)
[There is already a poll that shows Trump beating Clinton.]
Hopefully there is enough of a lead to make up for the amounts of fraud and sore loser thumbsuckers who are going to stay home or vote 3rd party.
Bush said Trump would be out of the race by Dec 15
This must be the “slow motion Trump implosion” that another FReeper promised months ago.
The Super Tuesday Eve polls released today will be interesting as usually pollsters want to get their last poll accurate as possible. If this CNN/ORC poll is accurate, I don't see how Cruz can even win Texas.
The Donald better start looking for places that hold 100 thousand people for the general election.
I think Cruz will still win Texas but those delegates will be stripped and given to Rubio/Romney after Cruz’s Super Pacs cut him off from the money and advertising very soon.
Trump has clearly peaked. It’s time for Rubio to give another third place winners speech to be lauded by Faux News.
Yes, I've seen it. But that one is largely ignored.
A vote for Cruz = A vote for Rubio/Romney.
When she starts hacking on stage during a debate its toast time for her.
It is ignored because some people don’t want to believe that Trump is beating Hillary.
I don't see Rubio contesting for a single state tomorrow so I'm not sure what his expectations are. Declaring victory while in 2nd or 3rd place won't work after tomorrow. He'll be too far behind on delegates.

Yeah, but they won't vote. People will willingly put up with huge traffic jams and stand in line for hours to see a free show, but they won't spend a few minutes in line to get into a voting booth. /s
Romney gets in if Rubio loses Florida.
Cruz will be cut off by his Super Pacs soon and will not make it to Florida. And Cruz will be forced to endorse Rubio for Florida.
