[Roger] ” Stone... told WND:
"GOP establishment plan to steal the nomination from Trump & to thwart the popular will, and they don’t care if they lose. Trump threatens all the establishment GOP leaders’ cozy deals. He’s a threat to the lobbying class. ... to the consultant class, ... globalists.”
... “If Rubio cannot win Florida, then Rubio drops out & Romney is in.”...
“If Trump does not win enough delegates to carry the nomination on the first ballot, there’s no way he will be president... On the second ballot, the GOP establishment figures enough delegates, including the 210 GOP superdelegates, can be pounded together to make Romney the GOP nominee in 2016.”
...
“Democrats and the GOP in Congress both want to continue open borders, to introduce amnesty for the illegal immigrants already in the United States, to give the green light to the Trans-Pacific Partnership and ship more millions of jobs overseas, and to expand the welfare state and retain Obamacare, and to allow Goldman Sachs and their friends on Wall Street to make all the money"
...
“GOP establishment has lawyers right now checking filing deadlines to make sure Romney can yet be registered in the big primaries remaining, including New York, New Jersey and California,” .
...
2012: ... rules committee decision to replace with Romney supporters 10 of Maine’s 24 delegates pledged to support Ron Paul ... stopped Maine from submitting Ron Paul’s name in nomination.
“ ... although Romney had enough delegates to win the ballot on the first ballot, the establishment GOP leaders wanted to avoid a floor fight so GOP could present a united front to the American public,” Stone noted. “It’s the same this year. By controlling the rules committee, the GOP establishment seeks to control the nominating convention.”

You just don’t understand. Romney has magic underwear.
Romney won't be enlisted to win. His job will be to ensure that Trump loses.
It's the nuclear option deployed by a Washington establishment that rightfully sees Hillary Clinton as less of a threat to their entrenched spoils system than Donald Trump.
It is down to Trump or Cruz, two outsiders. The establishment can change the rules but that will not pick the winner. I think GOPe prefers Trump over Cruz.
Yepper, or crash the convention.
The only thing worse that a Trump win at the convention would be a back room Romney selection. Either one will dismantle any pretense of a conservative Republican Party.
Wow. Thank God for this year. ALL the masks have come off.
This surprises nobody here, the Cruzers, the Tumpsters, the Bi-Candidators, We all know the GOPe is part of the Uni-party and wants to keep their grip on power...
We have had to remove a number of your posts which had material from Alex Jones Infowars site. Material from Alex Jones, Infowars, Prison Planet is not acceptable nor wanted on Free Republic.
Please stop posting anything referencing or linking to any of it, or anything from similar sites.
Thank you.
Well, I know that McCain has to go.
well why not?Isn’t that what Glen Beck said and Mitch and other GOPe? And as far as I can tell Cruz and rubio
They know they will not but they are owned by the dems now because of spying on US citizens. They think being a slave in power is better than a nobody citizen again. This decision is only about selfishness.
It could be a bloody slaughter for the House and Senate too for the GOP
Yes, but probably not by election losses at this point. The base is too angry and this could be the spark that could lights the tender-box.
The GOP elite would be smarter to play along until after the elections.
roger stone. lol.
You said it! All the masks off politicians, media, talk radio..... Some unmasking has disappointed me, others have been surprising. Trump has changed the window I now look through.
I wish all GOPe will just declare themselves as Democrats and leave the “crazies” to the Republican party
Call me crazy.
The Founding States had never intended for the president or the Senate to be elected by popular will. The Progressive Movement effort to turn the constitutional republic into a mob-ruled democracy as evidenced by the Progressive Movements perversion of the electoral college and the ill-conceived 17th Amendment is backfiring in the faces of Progressives.
That’s all it’s been for quit a while; a pretense.
It may be secret but it is widely surmised.
By the Rino made rules they need 60% to ensure a victory because of the super delegates. Fortunately Trump plus Cruz delegates will make that number so that a deal between them can be made where the Uniparty has no say in the matter.
This is ALL World Net Daily bullcrap!!
