The New York Times has just laid virtually all of talk radios top conservative punditry naked to their enemies by revealing a coordinated effort, between them and top DC politicians, to tamp-down opposition to comprehensive immigration reform, and gaslight the national republican audience. A brutal expose
We already knew the aspect of Fox News via Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Sean Hannity and Bill OReilly meeting with Chuck Schumer, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio capturing promises to deliver favorable opinion for immigration reform. Outlined HERE We also knew, and wrote about how Fox Executives manipulated program content (including the blacklisting of amnesty critics) to support the collective agenda.
However, we did not know how far the scope of the influence was extended, nor did we know Rush Limbaugh was a direct participant. We also did not know that Laura Ingraham and Mark Levin were lobbied to participate.
How would we know? How would anyone know? They never told their audience.
None of the aforementioned pundits ever disclosed the nature or content of the lobbying, nor their own independent determination whether to go along with the agenda, or remain willfully blind thereby benefitting the legislative agenda by omission.
In hindsight we can only accept silence as willful blindness.
However, now we do know, many things make a lot more sense about how reactionary all the conservative pundits were, notably the Fox Group, when candidate Donald Trump announced his immigration platform to include a border wall, deportation and strict enforcement of immigration law. Now we know why most pundits reacted with such disdain.

Wait until his gaslighting defenders on FR tell how stupid, unconservative and un Christian we are for daring to expose Rush as what he is today.
>> I was waiting for Rush to be exposed <<
After he hired Elton John to play at his fourth wedding, I don’t you should have needed to keep waiting.
“I wonder how Rush is going to try and spin this?”
No spin necessary. This is clearly an attempt to drive a wedge between conservative radio hosts and their listeners. Unfortunately for the NYT there is no meat in the story. Where is the so called gas lighting? Is it having a confidential meeting? Did any of the hosts come out in favor of the gang of 8 bill? Did any of them accept money or favors from anyone? What is the scandal?
Monday will be very interesting on talk radio. Fox news will be business as usual dumping on Trump.
.
Believing anything from “Conservative Treehouse” is dangerous to our national survival.
They are in this thing to destroy us.

Either you don't really listen to Rusb or you really don't know what your talking about........Obviously cut and past is your friend.
So which is it Artcore, you don't listen or you don't know what you're talking about?
Inquiring minds want to know.........?
Sorry, moron, but the NY Times article only says Sen. Rubio tried to persuade the talk hosts to support the Gang of Eight. It doesn’t say they did. And anyone but the most deliberately stupid hack will remember that Limbaugh, Levin, et al OPPOSED the Gang of Eight bill.
In the interest of helping, here's another new word for you to play with: "Duckspeak". You'll find it goes well with your continued use of gas-lighting...
“...the NY Times article only says Sen. Rubio tried to persuade the talk hosts to support the Gang of Eight”
Imagine that, a bunch of politicos trying to convince influential people not to trash their bill. I’m sure that never happened before. The HORROR! Note that they didnt even try to get them to support it, just not thoroughly savage it and give it a fair chance. How did that go?? Not too well.
I wonder if Rush’s real problem is he thinking, “Damn it, I should have run.”
I have been using Gas Lighting for months here and for years to describe bullies and those who use Gas Lighting to intimidate and to bully people!
Amnesty is also letting them come back in via a YUGE door.
If you cut in line you never get to come back! That’s Cruz’s position and the one I like best.
Rush is in tech heaven. Soft job and a great life. Why run when you can get rich talking and running more commercials the the NFL.
Disclose what? That politicians are trying to get them on their side? I’m pretty sure that happens every single day.
I’m really confused on this. So how was Rush trying to twist or spin stuff in favor of the abuser?
“Needs repeating until people finally understand the enormity of whats happening.!”
Why dont you enlighten us as to what you think is happening?
