The stadium has seating for 5,000 and has never held an event with over 8,000 attendees with parking for 1,000 vehicles. Maj. Jim Cooke with the Madison police told AL.com the huge expected crowd for the Trump rally is a logistics nightmare:
I dont think you could have picked a worse location for this number of people.
Im about as frustrated as I can get, Cooke said. I never imagined that I would be notified at 10 minutes after 5 on Thursday afternoon that we needed to plan for an event that takes three weeks to properly plan. Well figure it out. Weve got a lot of great people here and well do the best we can with the mission weve got.
Weve just never had that size of an event here before. Logistically, the way thats laid out over there, I just cant tell you whats going to happen if a crowd of 20,000 people (shows up). I just dont have a clue.
Emergency arrangements are being made for satellite parking and shuttle buses to handle the enormous crowd.
WAAY-TV reported that roads are being closed and traffic rerouted to handle the car and pedestrian traffic.

Yeap! Agree! Can’t trust a man when the man causes such CHAOS! to unsuspecting individuals and organizations. Woe is us - the Hillary crowd would feel themselves fortunate to see such action
This will do the man in!
Cruz will probably say that Trump paid the mob to bring in all their friends.
I wish Free Republic had ‘Thumbs-up’ buttons because I would love to use it on some of these hilarious comments.
Hillary could probably draw crowds like that.
In Detroit and Dearbornistan and Benghazi.
....and San Quentin, Leavenworth, etc.

I really wanted to go, but my wife can't go today. To be really honest, I'm concerned about driving home alone in the dark.
I have some night-blindness, and I hate to drive in the dark unless I'm very familiar with where I am.
It's two hours or so for me one way on unfamiliar roads.
> Hillary could probably draw crowds like that.
The Waffle House that hosted one of her Iowa speeches got crowded. She inconveniently did it at lunch time and a few people had to wait a few minutes to be seated - you could see from the picture of “the huge crowd”.
It looked like all the lanes were free at Hillary’s speech at the bowling alley but they didn’t show a picture of “the huge crowd” so it’s hard to tell if there was any inconvenience.
LOL
more please
that is so funny...and true!
You’ve hit it People just want someone on their side. For a change. The way I see it, the proposition is secure borders but there will be some form of national health care. That appears to be the center of Trump’s campaign. And the reason Trump will win is because if he can do national health care like Switzerland or The Netherlands and drop healthcare spending from almost 20% of GDP to around 12%, while also securing borders, he’s in. Wish it was different, wish the guy was more conservative, but until Republicans get off their asses and out of the think tanks and into communities, they’re just fighting rear guard actions from here to eternity. What they have to offer works, but it doesn’t get beyond the ta!king heads because groups like Heritage are for thinkers, not doers.
Yes. Trump DOES love our country and hates Gope and Trade deals and immigration which they have used to almost destroy the country.
That is why we overlook, bragging, hubris, three wives, lack of specifics, rude remarks abd on and on. Sessions, Gingrich, Christie as advosors. Manly testosterone and polite first lady. He is our best chance to rid ourselves of our enimies within.
