Cruz: Trump tax returns may show mob connection
Politico ^ | 2/28/16 | ELENA SCHNEIDER

Ted Cruz speculated on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Donald Trump may be hesitant to release his tax returns because of “Donald's business dealings with the mob, with the mafia.”

“ABC, CNN, multiple news reports have reported about his some dealings with, for example, S&A Construction, which was owned by 'Fat Tony' Salerno, who is a mobster who is in jail,” Cruz said Sunday morning. “Maybe his taxes show those business dealings are a lot more extensive than has been reported.”

Does anyone know yet, has Cruz released his returns yet? He promised it would be last Friday. I did hear he released a summary, but not the returns. Trump never made any promises.

dang...you can't even enjoy a funny joke

Oh, but I did (really). I was just funnin' around a bit there. And I will freely admit, in my post you could just as easily substitute "Trump" for "Cruz". Any politician has the capacity to go off the rails.

Cruz and Rubio siad they would release their tax returns. When they did they only released a summary. What are they hiding. Dirty money?

[Even took money from him.]

Good point, maybe he should be asked to give back Trump’s ‘blood money’.

“They’ll be the same ones bitching about Trump later and not admitting they were supporters. Those who do will just say the other GOP candidates would have been worse.”

___________

Not this one. I have no emotions about any of these politicians. I’ll be the first to snatch that blond stuff off his head if he BS’s us. Unlike Canada Ted supporters who hated Obama for MAYBE being foreign born.

And yes, the others are still worse. Voting for anyone else gives us Hillary/Sanders.

The time for ‘feelings’ is over, it’s all math now.

Fact. Trump is getting votes from ALL sectors of the electorate, including independents and some democrats. That is what it takes to win against the dems in November.
And that’s the name of that tune. All the flailing and protest won’t change it.

Cruz can never do that. In FACT, he’s loosing to Trump with the Evangelicals and Hispanics and the ‘very conservative’.

[snip] Tuesday night’s results were very bad news for Cruz. It’s not just that it was his third third-place finish in a row. It’s also how Cruz lost. He carried only 27 percent of the white born-again and evangelical Christian vote, behind Trump’s 41 percent. Cruz also lost this group in New Hampshire and South Carolina. But, unlike in South Carolina, Cruz also trailed among “very conservative” voters in Nevada, 34 percent to Trump’s 38 percent. Finally, Cruz continues to struggle among “somewhat conservative” and moderate voters. He earned just 16 percent and 7 percent among those groups, respectively, according to the entrance poll. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/nevada-caucus-results-donald-trump-2016-republican-primary/

Amazing how lazy Freepers have become with google these days.
It's more amazing how stupid some "freepers" are that don't know you can't/couldn't even pour concrete in NY City without having the mob involved...

A "freeper" since 1999 that can't post a link, were you saying something about lazy freepers?

the Mob is like cockroaches... the us government has been going after it since Kennedys assassination. you can always take down the Mob but there is always an underling willing to take the place of those arrested. the Mob has the ability to shut down his business by making his projects un profitable. it is easy to say trump should help the mob put a stop but it is easier said then done.

So windy djt does concerned trolling it’s just fine but when someone else makes a comment that there could be something that’s mean and nasty got it thank you for playing.

Not sure what that means, but Ted's statements make it clear he has no idea what's included in a business tax return. That's what we get from a lawyer who studied political science as an undergraduate and has no practical experience in business, or much of anything other than government, for that matter.

This is probably going to surprise most of you trump supporters. Ted isn't running against Hillary yet. Ted isn't in it to support trump. He has tried to run on the issues and watched as a bumbling blow hard yelled and accused him of lying at every turn win more delegates.

He's been disrespected and accused of dirty tricks after winning on the issues in Iowa.

He's not looking for the moron vote as it's completely tied up now. He wants the 60% who look beyond hyperbole and slogans.

Trump created the mess this campaign season has become.

The issue I think has to do with tax return and mob. Is there a Mob Deduction?

Doesn't Ted Cruz realize that since Iowa, maybe already earlier, he has been his own worst enemy, that he is destroying his chances? He is showing he is nasty, willing to lie and cheat, and not stable mentally. He and especially Robot Rubio made a farce of the last debate. Or is Cruz the Trojan horse?

I hope D. Trump skips the next debate. The last one was disgraceful, with Cruz and notably Rubio acting like two yakking lap dogs.

I’m convinced...only El Comadrejo Cruz can save us from the Tony Sopranos.

He does look rather dashing in his Mounty uniform.

My Father was in the construction business and I do think there may be a time limit on concrete.
You're right there is a time limit and it has nothing to do with the mob.

So no evidence, but Cruz accuses Trump of being a mobster and tax fraud. Sure sounds like a Consistent Constitutionalist Christian Conservative to me!

Cruz is in bed with a much bigger Mafia than any NY mob - one with far more reach, more murders, and countless damage inflicted on innocent Americans all across the nation.

Cruz is a liar and a sleaze and that’s why he is getting his ass kicked all around the country. He is reduced to playing along with the Washington Mafia Thad Cochran strategy to try and leverage a future position in their mob and be a made man.

At least the mob has a strict code of honor (unlike the scumbags in the US Congress).
