Donald Trump reportedly has an IQ of 175 and he has made billions of dollars; those are not something an idiot could have accomplished. I'm pro-Trump, but, yeah, he did not handle that well. His answer should have been, "Of course. I denounce extremism of all forms. Now let's talk about extremism on the left for a moment."

No, there is implicit in that question an accusation. Instead of assuming that Trump is not racist, Tapper was trying to corral Trump into DENYING he was racist. It was a trap question all the way.

Hard to believe that a creature/product of the media like Trump—who openly brags about knowing (or knowing of) almost everyone, has never heard of David Duke. And if he hasn’t, what is his campaign staff doing?
During every campaign, there are fringe characters like Duke who will endorse a candidate just to attract attention to themselves and their “cause.” If I’m not mistaken, the former KuKluxer has pulled this stunt before, and campaigns immediately renounce him. Duke’s “support” should have been disavowed by Trump immediately.
If The Donald thinks the white supremacist vote is going to put him over the top, he is sadly mistaken.
I will say this much in Trump’s defense. Tapper is a hypocrite in pressing Trump on the Duke issue when he refuses to ask the Dims about pandering to Black Lives Matter. BLM is just as racist as the Klan, but no Democrat or reporter will point out the obvious similarities between BLM and white supremacist groups.
