I didn’t sell anybody out. I had a short list of “most important things I wanted done by my president” and chose the person who ticked off the most items. I literally voted my list, not the person.

As far as selling out goes, Rubio and Cruz sold themselves out on their own. Rubio is a shape shifter. I can’t understand a word he’s saying when he starts talking at supersonic speeds. Maybe that’s his goal. From his own mouth, he doesn’t like public service, so why bother making him president.

I’m truly disappointed with Cruz. All he had to do was be the brave, earnest man we Texans sent to the Senate. He turned into a tent revival preacher to pander to the evangelical vote but had no plan to mainstream himself to the rest of the nation. He has daddy issues, bad friends and shady advisors. He coulda been a contender.
