I hear what you say and understand, but you have the legacy of a Bush with a triumvirate opportunity at one point in his Presidency who did sh!t except to give the CIA/FBI/NSA more power to invade our privacy and create the two single biggest agencies that abridge and abuse our freedoms - DHS and TSA. Tell me either are fighting for YOU.

It’s one of those things that will never happen, even though by some measure of theoretical cosmic justice it “ought to happen” to the lying news media. The barrier to traverse is way too steep. Even liberals hate to do this.
The barrier that isn’t as hard to traverse is the barrier of common lies that have America wallowing in false guilt trips at the behest of illiberal “liberals.” This has to be actively defended.
Not all threats are at the same plausibility level. It would have been better if a shining Christian knight had shown up on the scene, but frankly this doesn’t appear to be Ted Cruz in his current condition. So we get a rude crude rassler who will still stand up for America.

Rubio would certainly have a motive as it’s in his nature and Rush has been praising Trump BIG TIME lately. Discredit Rush, then Trump loses some credibility. But Rubio isn’t alone in wishing Rush out of the way, obviously...just about all the principles have motive.
Someone else mentioned blackmail - who knows, but it certainly explains Justice Roberts - maybe it explains Rush. If Rush does have some kind of skeleton, the BEST THING for him to do is COME CLEAN and expose the blackmailer. Rush is set for life...he has to put the country first now.

Based on his comments as an example, will he get Obamacare repealed? If so, he may just put in place single payer. Will he get Planned Parenthood defunded? It doesn’t sound like it because ‘they do wonderful things for many women’ (or something like that). He may require some sort of promise from them to not use funds for abortion and voila! everything can go on as it is. Do you know? I don’t believe you know what the heck he will do. But he sounds good and whatever he does he’ll say it with loudness and no regret and now he has a bullhorn in Christie. And I suppose you will worship everything and be happy ever after. If Trump had a horse it would be white.

What really clinched it for me that Rush is part and parcel of the massive media and Establishment attack on Trump is when a caller mentioned that one the republicans, who previously was against Trump now supports him.
Rush replied, “He’s probably looking for a job in the Trump Regime” a word he usually reserves for 0 and other dictators.

Okay, “heart” wasn’t specifically in there but that’s what I took from your argument. Regardless, you also don’t know definitively what he won’t do or do, for that matter, even with the knowledge that the establishment’s Golden Boys have proven unmistakably they don’t do what they tell their voters they will do.

Wrong. I know what Cruz did. He did what he said he would do. He is my senator. He has taken heat for his stands and there is a reason the establishment treats him much like ‘the one who shall not be named’. I believe he is a bigger threat to them than Trump. Trump says things that sound great, however vague, but lately he is saying contradictory things that should cause us all concern. It’s not what his opponents say about him, it’s his own words. Character? Ivanna’s children are a wonderful testimony but is that her influence or Trumps? He has not been a good husband, serially at different times maybe but not faithful. Marla’s daughter is dating an operative in Hillary’s campaign (I read and saw a very chummy photo). Melania’s son is too young to know how he turns out. I think children are a good indicator so the first batch point to good genes. His personal decisions point to problems.
By stop the BS I don’t mean you should stop telling your opinion. I mean don’t repeat nonsense like some of the articles I have seen. You certainly have every right to continue BS too if you want. Go for it! For now we are free but if Trump gets to change libel laws, as was reported yesterday, we may not be able to participate on FR unless we like Trump.
