Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio, who has been dogged by questions over his personal finances, released portions of his tax returns Saturday, but the documents don't reveal details like which tax breaks he claimed or how much he gave to charity.
-snip-
Rubios release is aimed at increasing the pressure on GOP front-runner Donald Trump to produce his own returns, but the fact that Rubio only released partial returns may undermine his case. Meanwhile, Sen. Ted Cruz, who has also been demanding Trump produce tax documents, missed his own self-imposed deadline of Friday for providing his returns.

No they don’t. There is no requirement to provide tax returns.

Rubio has lived off the back of predominantly non hispanic taxpayers who pay most the taxes.

I am supporting Cruz - But total BS move by Cruz and Rubio. Say you are gonna do it. Do it. Rubio's move is way weasily. just parts ?!? And cruz better come through in full in the next few days.
And all you Trump supporters - I know there is no legal requirement to expose your tax returns. But it has become "accepted" practice, and you all have to admit - Hillary and her partners, the MSM will eviscerate Trump over this if he doesn't release the past 10 years with the most recent included. You KNOW this will happen. You know Trump ( or Cruz or Rubio, if they somehow win the nomination) will get hurt deeply and it will be a steady drumbeat to release them, if it is required or not.
And being a conservative I do not think it should be required - but the reality is - if trump doesn't release his soon, it would be a major mistake.

Partial returns only raise suspicions about what he's hiding, and prolong the news cycle about what he's hiding.

but the documents don't reveal details like which tax breaks he claimed or how much he gave to charity. Rubio is really that stupid, braying constantly about Trump's returns, then he releases parts of his returns that don't include the pages where those "bombshells" on him might be found?

This entire issue is absurd and only feeds the leftist narrative that Republicans are filthy rich pigs.
The fact that Cruz is doing this only underscores how pathetic and desperate his campaign is.
