what do you want? govt to fund campaigns??? It takes money to run a campaign especially if one is an outsider without name recognition.

Self funders do not impress me. Conservative politicians getting elected impresses me.

I want nothing. Did I ask for something? I was merely pointing out a fact to you. Ted Cruz is not going to come out of this process free to do whatever he may want to accomplish, if he wins the nomination and then the election.

So how can you be sure a conservative politician is what you will get after all is said and done. Only one politician has ever had a lasting positive affect on me, Reagan. Reagan definitely had conservative traits, but he wasn't a staunch conservative. He knew when to exert conservatism, and when to throttle it back. Yet he always accomplished his main goals.
