Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., penned a joint op-ed for the Wall Street Journal Wednesday calling on Congress to pass Trade Promotion Authority legislation. The two conservative lawmakers argue that the legislation, also known as "Fast Track," is urgently needed to strengthen the U.S.'s ability to negotiate future trade deals.

I know the Country has debated it
Cruz or Rubio Backers tell us what is in the bill?
You want Trumps taxes
I want to know what is in this Bill?
This was the day when Ted Cruz started losing me.
I suspect that the reason Cruz is running before even completing one term in the Senate is because he knows he cannot keep up the anti-establishment outsider charade for very long. I am sure his donors expect results for their money and they are not paying him to buck the establishment.
Rubio supports Obamatrade. Cruz’s claims he does not. Yet Cruz’s debate alliance with Rubio and defacto endorsement of him suggests otherwise. Newsworthy piece here.
If I recall correctly Cruz helped write TPP, co-sponsored it...something like that.
Within TPP is an open immigration section.
Post as “Breaking News” no less.
This was the day when Ted Cruz started losing me.
Me too. This was the beginning of the end of Cruz. His slimy month long campaign for Obama’s TPA was infuriating. It was one half truth filled press release after another. It’s when I really started to notice his arrogance. He really thought he could BS his way through TPA with the rubes on Main Street.
Tells the Clintons to jump guess what they did
It is not the TPP bill but the agreement they refuse to allow to be seen even by the .senators that must vote on the bill. It needs to die.
trump not only donated to the clintons he praised the clintons and said hitlery will make a great negotiator...
So that must mean Trump accepting Christie’s endorsement means he’s as liberal as Christie?
Or does it mean you believe Christie has now converted to Trumpism and passionately believes in everything Trump believes?
No, it means Cruz will settle for the VP slot.
So the TPA allowed trade reps to make a deal. The deal would get an up or down vote after the full text was available to congress for 60 days and the trade reps available for briefings.
I see nothing wrong with what was done at that point. If after reviewing the deal it is shown to be a bad then you vote against it.
Ted and Heidi are making it hard for me to vote for him on March 1.
So that must mean Trump accepting Christies endorsement means hes as liberal as Christie?
Good question. Does Cruz’s enabling Obama’s secret trade agenda make him a liberal?
