So the TPA allowed trade reps to make a deal. The deal would get an up or down vote after the full text was available to congress for 60 days and the trade reps available for briefings.
I see nothing wrong with what was done at that point. If after reviewing the deal it is shown to be a bad then you vote against it.
It doesn’t seem to matter how many times you try to explain the difference between TPA and TPP people still don’t understand but maybe they will read this again and understand why Cruz voted the way he did. He was trying to insure that Obama’s secret deal couldn’t go through without the details being made public before the vote.
