A Starr County community said they are tired of gunfire spilling over from Mexico.

Border Patrol reported shots fired on Friday morning. At around 8:30 a.m., neighbors in Refugio, a small community by Rio Grande City, said a dead-end street was full of Border Patrol agents and Department of Public Safety officials.

Resident Rene Garza said his community has learned to live with all the violence.

Garza said he grew up in the border community. "Before we wouldn't see shootings," he said. "Now, if you stand here at night, you will hear shootings. It's normal."

Garza said many of his neighbors won’t talk about the illegal activity, because they fear retaliation. He said he’s tired of looking the other way.

Bring in the military, set up camp along the border with snipers and BUILD THE WALL!

Because as soon as construction starts the workers will come under attack.

At the very least have portable shields mounted.

I hope so, because i may be there, been in concrete business for 20 years.

So Mr. professional cement man.

How hard will it be to build a 50' wall using the material Trump specified?

Pffffttt! Un-possible. We all know that mess-eek-O is a gunfree zone.

It's all about supply and demand. The gringos demand the dope and the mexicanos have the supply.

It's not rocket science.
Of course, California can always legalize drugs. What's the harm?

Germany legalized prostitution. That was supposed to end the problems with sick prostitutes.
Problems arose. The sick prostitutes STILL needed the drugs from their pimps ... so their female Prostituierten have sex WITHOUT condoms. As these females aged, FEWER men wanted sex from them; they turned to the kinky market. They got AIDS, of course.

The YOUNG women loved it as they got all the attention. But, if a female has sex ten times a day, which isn't abnormal, that is 3650 sex encounters a year and in ten short years that is 36,500 sex contacts a year.
SO, the pimperooni gives them drugs to make them tolerate it. Thus, as drug addicts die Prostituierten MUST do what der Zuhälter says.

I was on two bus tours of Hamburg, one during the day and one at night. So I heard this garbage twice. When the female guide spoke about it I HAD to open my BIG mouth: "Oh yes, isn't that a WONDERFUL occupation for young women and girls? Wouldn't ALL of you want YOUR mothers, sisters, cousins and daughters to be prostitutes? HOW nice the German government is to make this LOVELY occupation legal."

There was DEAD SILENCE for several minutes. 'Nuff said.

Dianne Feinstein packs. She says that she was afraid to walk alone at night from the hospital, where her husband was, to her car.

The REST of San Francisco can't pack but SHE can.
She is, was and always will be a MAJOR league A****le and hypocrite.

“Need a bullet proof fence.”

Well, the government taxes airports to pay for soundproofing the neighborhood homes...can’t we slap a tax on money orders going to Mexico to bulletproof people’s homes near the border?

Google up images of the wall built by Israel.

I see different types for different areas, for high density i believe it will be a large interlocking block so as to have a pathway at the upper level. For the more remote areas panels of pre stressed cast flat on the ground and lowered into a poured below grade pocket.

Just off the top of my head.

Soldiers fires Quad .50 Caliber Machine Gun targeting on hill and M4 Sherman Tank...

I want a ticket. Read a book about Korea called This Kind of War where the author describes the use of Quad 50s against troops attacking down hillsides. He said it was like a vacuum cleaner.

Maybe, my guess is smart people and i stress that point will come up with a method that will make it fast, possibly at first it will be the foundation, that needs time to fully cure first, usually 3 weeks. The foundation obviously needs to be deep for special reasons.

And i doubt it will be a simple wall like Israel has in the urban areas like at the Ca border, there it has to be artistic and functional. Not just miles of vertical H steel beams with pre stressed panels between them.

My son worked on the border last year. Getting shot at was not unusual. Each worker had their own security detail. The cartels would just drive up and down the border and shoot out the newly installed cameras.

We do need a bullet-proof wall.

Israel used a good chunk of cement.

The man in the article is right. Shots come across the border all the time. There's been several times that the Univ of TX Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville (Refugio is a suburb of Brownsville) and the University of TX at El Paso have had to close their campuses because of flying bullets.

A map of how close the city hall is to the border when a bullet hit that building.

Above boarded up after bullet hit the door window at UTEP.

Rotate a NG ADA platoon down there with Vulcans. Every time there's a round from down south lay down withering suppressive fire.

Those guys need to rotate that 20MM anyway, might as well put it to good use.

I have a video from Dillon Precision made in the 90’s where they fire a quad mount 50 at aerial drones. the quad mount had 50’s and mini guns on it.

Impressive.
