I find it somewhat surprising that a Trump adviser would complain about the negative tone of the campaign.

I’ll tell you another thing that helps Hillary:
The MSM is giving her FDR coverage — only showing her from the waist up.
But in fairness to the MSM, the rest of her might not fit on the screen.
As far as complaints about a negative tone in the campaign coming from Trump staff, no comment.
Couldn’t agree more - Rubio and Cruz need to COOL IT a bit and get behind the front-runner.

It is a shame, though, that LIV's likely view Hillary as more "presidential" than any of the Republicans.
The so called debate was over the top. Some mudslinging is expected, what we saw Thursday was anathema.

Trump has been so presidential in tone & behavior. No negative comments from him! “Fool, idiot, bad, dummy, liar, pathetic, pathological”- just the positive descriptors Trump uses against his republican foes. Wait til he goes negative!

She is not complaining about the negative tone just commenting on it.
So screw that. I'd have much preferred an issue-oriented campaign rather that chest-beating about poll numbers in the debate, but that's not what Trump wanted. Screw that. Time to fire the FPF and try to take down that ginger with every shred of ammo left.
For every person who says they have lost them, 100 people join Trump. We will be ok.
