That’s the bad news. Now for the good news.

Those power-brokers within the party apparatus just received the biggest fright of the race. Chris Christie endorsing Donald Trump is severely stunning not because of his clout and influence, but rather because he was inside the GOPe camp for YEARS.

Remember, Chris Christie was head of the Republican Governors Association. Christie was at the head of the table during the Romney pre-race decision-making in ’11 and into 2012.

Christie attended the secret Colorado Summit post citizens united, which was the basis for the first discussions on how to defeat the electorate after the 2010 mid-terms.

Governor Chris Christie has been at the heart of the RNC/GOPe apparatus, and the well thought of insider, within Bush/Romney world for well over six years. Christie attended and participated in some of the most sensitive discussions about with political party leadership, and the financiers therein, regarding all operational and organizational plans.

That is why his appearance today is so stunning – and also why it was such a closely guarded secret, it had to be.

christie trumpThe RNC/GOPe are now facing the looming probability that Chris Christie was a mole, an insurgent, the entire time.

..Rubio was able to cash in in spectacular fashion because Florida’s preposterously flaccid political rules allow politicians to simultaneously hold public office and work as “consultants” to major law and lobbying firms—much like the arrangement that recently landed Sheldon Silver in prison in New York.

Time for the GOPe to die.

No no no, time for the GOPe to be replaced with patriots. Never throw the baby out with the bath water.

Their whole roadmap argument makes sense and offers an explanation for 17 candidates in advancing the Jeb! strategy.

That it does, and bear in mind that the Cheap Labor Express has been denied their demanded amnesty for about a decade now, and they're getting rather miffed about it...

Sundance is amazing... who is the guy? Anyone know? Maybe a 'Sundance' ping list? If so, I want on!!! While Christie was inside the network, was he more “loyal” to his friend Donald Trump than he was to his role within the apparatus?" "Notice today when asked about his endorsement the key phraseology from Christie spoke about loyalty to his friend Donald Trump. The word loyalty is key. This is “code of Omerta” type loyalty. The witnessing audience might not fully grasp the intense significance."

I’ll tell you why I find that hard to believe, Trump’s kids. I think if Trump were one of the scheming left, his children would reflect that sort of underhanded attitude but they don’t.

I've seen that sentiment reflected here before, and also people suggesting other facets of Trumps lifestyle prove he not a NYC big government-type person.

Unfortunately, there are lots of liberals with nice, respectful, and patriotic children. Joe Biden comes to mind. As far as I can tell, Obama has a wonderful family.

There are also many liberals who have become billionaires and employed thousands of people. There are liberals with beautiful wives and big planes they fly around.

Shouldn't we just take people's stated policies as the true reflection of how they would govern, instead of how they look, how successful they are, or other intangibles?

Far more likely Christie is sick of being an unpopular Governor in a blue state and wants to move on to a new job like Attorney General. He’s not going to be President but his good buddy Donald Trump is so time to endorse.

If you looked at Trumps stated policies instead of trying to find ways to unravel them, you would not be able to find one you actually disagree with.

Here's a few:

Funding the "good" part of radical left Planned Parenthood.

Saying Judge Scalia was "too rough" on Blacks when he questioned affirmative action.

A progressive-rate tax plan that preserves the IRS.

For more NSA snooping of American citizens because he is going to "err on the side of safety".

For government seizing private property to give to crony capitatlists like himself.

For ethanol mandates because "it employs a lot of people"

For suing media who dare to criticize him as president.

Putting a "big beautiful door" in the wall at the Mexican border.

For bringing in foreign laborers to his own businesses because no one in America wants those jobs.

Taking care of people's health care (with our money) because he has a big heart.

For the Justice Robert's healthcare mandate (that is really a tax).

For tariffs on foreign goods (that is actually a tax paid by us to the government).

For boycotting Apple, because they think individuals should have privacy.

It goes on and on. Trump is not for limited government. He's a liberal Rockefeller Republican at best, and Democrat at worst.

You don’t get it, it’s Trump or America is gone. I’m not exaggerating, if anyone else gets in we give the establishment what they need to finish us off. Open borders, global trade deals that will destroy us, funding Obamacare indefinitely, etc.

Nothing you say can trump that, no pun intended.

Wouldn't it be great if the brainiacs and connivers in the GOPe spent as much time figuring out how befuddle and defeat the Democrats as they do their own base?

They aren't just the Stupid Party any more. They are the Other Evil Party. I hope Trump and Cruz blow them to smithereens. Perhaps a phoenix will arise from the ashes... or better yet a rattlesnake protecting a flag?

Cubans Chihuahua Marko and Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald.

Seriously, the best names for Cruz and Rubio was tagged by a FReeper that I can't remember. S/He tagged them: Desperation and Perspiration

I just find it both appropriate and hysterically funny!

People who have responded to you already think much deeper than you.

Your problem is you think the GOPe is the GOP. It is not, not even close.
