He MAY save the country?

You don't know for sure do you?

I don't care what you think.

“Of course. Excellent idea! It would then be even easier to lampoon them and their Dear Leader.”

Exactly. If you are to lampoon, make it good. I think the names I’m being called as a Trump supporter lack lampoon value, and am therefore disappointed.

If you are going to lampoon me, do a better job. If the polls are any measure, and if past performance is any measure, you are NOT doing a good job.

At this point, if you are going to stop Trump, humor, political lampooning is probably the best way, yet nobody is able to get beyond adding a suffix to “Trump”. This is grade-school material.

Trump has vast material with which to lampoon. Get with it! you are almost out of time.

Now, come on folks, I’m a Trump supporter, make fun of me!!! Hurry up about it, and make it good.

And you want to pile on another tyrant with the ability to name his pro-abort sister to the Supreme Court and completely dismantle the last remaining vestige of Constitutional protection?

And threaten those who don't vote for her?

You really want to take that chance?

But most are not trolls, and what those who have been here longer than you can see (those of us actually participated in FReeps) is how the board has changed immensely in its political views. Even if the Freepers who have been on the board since the Clinton years (unlike you) are pro-Trump, they know very well who should be zotted and who shouldn’t be. And criticism over a primary candidate is par for the course on this site.

“I don’t care what you think.”

Obviously. You have awfully thin gruel for your 6 years of research on a book on Liberty.

Speaking of “MAY” you worry about what Trump “MAY” do, but you ignore what Rubio and Cruz “HAVE DONE” to the Constitution.

I hope Trump changes the status quo. I have reason to believe he will. I have no reason to believe Rubio or Cruz will.

That’s the best we can do right now. Sad but true.

This is a hit piece? What's your definition of one?

Anything that doesn't praise Donald Trump. Perfection is to be admired and in no way questioned.

“You really want to take that chance?”

Why do you roll these arguments out for Trump, when you should have been making them for the past 20-25 years?

Why do you think Rubio or Cruz will do anything to change the status quo - from abortion to Consitutional encroachment, why do you think those two would be any better than Trump?

So, you are saying that we have to go through another Civil War in order to rebuild this country?

No I am saying that there will be a revolution. Trump is one option, there are others.

Did you know that Trump's family and his staff spend half of their time trying to make sure they don't make him mad?

He is that touchy. That is the best we can do?

>> Hold your nose and pull the lever. Isn’t that what we’ve been told? <<

Yep, for sure.

And it’s good advice, because we often face a choice between an evil and a greater evil. That’s an unfortunate reality of human existence. Thanks for reminding me.

Therefore, if the execrable Trump is GOP nominee, I will definitely hold my nose and put an X next to his name — even though I think he is an evil and vile man — because Hilary and Bernie would be worse.

In particular, I think there’s a 100% chance that Hilary or Bernie would nominate terrible SCOTUS justices, whereas with Trump, there’s at least a 25% chance he would nominate a constitutionalist or two.

In other words, with either of the Dhimmis as POTUS, we would probably lose the Supreme Court for the next 30 years, whereas with Trump there will be a sliver of hope for the Constitution to survive another generation. It ain’t much, but it may be the best we can do.

“Did you know that Trump’s family and his staff spend half of their time trying to make sure they don’t make him mad?”

Is this really the best argument (after your Louis XIV chair argument) that you have against Trump?

If this is the research standard, then let’s apply it equally . Let’s get all the gossip out there.

I am not a Rubio fan. That being said, Trump has no concern for the Constitution. Ask him what he thinks. Ask him if he understands its importance. My reason for bringing up his reaction to historical artifacts is that as a habit he doesn't care about anything that will not make him money.

And you are all right with giving him all the power of the Executive branch including the IRS.

Don't tell me that he would do a better job than anyone else. Now maybe you are right - he will destroy it faster than anyone else, so I will give you that.

>> Do you realize we have an actual tyrant as President? <<

There it goes again, the old “two wrongs make a right” reasoning that one encounters day after day from members of the Trump Chorus.

It’s almost always something like,

“Obama is the worst President in American history, so anything Trump does or says is OK, because he can never be worse than Obama.”

Impeccable logic! You gotta love it!

I am not willing to hand over even my vote to endorse a man who if he didn’t own his own business would have been dropped kicked by the CEO and the entire board.

That is an interesting perspective. Think about it. The concept of ownership and “self employment” is an anathema? If you are going to be the owner you have more executive experience that you could ever want. And it it executive experience we are looking for, not politicians, they belong in congress.

Me, I prefer the owner who has some skin in the game and failed their way to success.

I would assume you have always, been an employee? Not that there is wrong with that...............

I have been involved with failed banks and businesses. What is needed is to bring in an outsider from the community who can make the tough decision. Someone inside the community has too many people to please.........

“Trump has no concern for the Constitution.”

You keep saying this, but you fail to make the case. I dispute your conclusion but I still don’t know why you conclude this.

“And you are all right with giving him all the power of the Executive branch including the IRS.”

It’s not up to me. If the people elect him, then that’s part of the deal.

“Don’t tell me that he would do a better job than anyone else.”

Isn’t that what elections are all about?

“Impeccable logic! You gotta love it!”

To be fair, I was arguing against someone who is against Trump because of his taste in furniture, and who further concludes that is why he will “tear up the Constitution”.

But I’ll take my lumps.

Do you not understand what “not constitutional “ means.
She AND ALITO concurred with the SCOTUS that the case was NOT CONSTITUTIONAL

I don't have to prove that Trump will ignore the Constitution. He will do that of his own accord. It is part of his deal.

At one point I was all right with Trump, but then I began to do my due diligence.

I did the same thing when Bill and Hillary were running for president. I did the same thing when Obama was running for president. I tried to warn people about what they really had in mind. I was told I was an idiot and a racist.

The difference with Trump is that he is basically an ignorant man who wants desperately to have others think that he is not.

I may be exhausted but I am not willing to just hand everything off to the man who needs to be flattered and promises the most.

Not gonna do it.
