I am also sick and tired of everything in the south’s name being changed because someone, anyone whines it is racists when it is not. Some of these names are of Indian tribes that were in our areas of Alabama and they want the names changed because it is racist towards blacks. REALLY!!! Indian names racist??? Really!!! Hell, over 50% of city and county names in the state are Indian names. My family did not own slaves. But, my family members were in the Southern army. One died in a battle in Virginia, a heck of a long distance from Alabama. He fought because of the threat to his state, not for slavery. I am sick and tired of the stinking liberals claiming everything about the War of Northern Aggression being about slavery. It wasn’t.
This morning I was thinking about embracing the program fully, and start a campaign to force the University of Washington and Washington State to change their names and quit honoring slavery.
