Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.
Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the “entertainment†portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

I always thought that Christie’s pugnacious style was similar to Trump’s and that Christie would do this. But endorsements don’t often matter but it’s hard to see how this would hurt him.

You are lost. NYC and NJ know the real Trump, not the confection that the rest of country sees,.....very well.....and he’s not liked.
No way NYC goes for him over Hillary, same for Trenton and Newark.

Christie is a good man who is not afraid to stand up to the unions. He knows Trump is a winner.
