Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.
Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshireâs primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the âentertainmentâ portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

You'll never get a NY/NJ ticket. Perhaps Attorney General?
Attorney General.
Like cement overshoes on a mob hit— oh yeah— let him cling -good for his “crew” in Joisey. This is so hilarious, cannot stop laughing. Macy’s balloons come early in the parade this year.
Your outsider candidate just turned insiders. The art of the deal.
Rationalization makes it all better.
Bring on the clowns. Don’t bother they’re here!
Cruz to endorse Rubio!
RINO Christie has RINO Trump’s back!
I just don't think that way. Jesus said - to paraphrase the New Testament - if they are fighting demons - who cares if they are not my followers as long as they do it in my name.
smart man
Weight — hehehehehe
Hey nasty wouldn’t Christie be a real American for AG. Imagine an AG unlike Holder or Lynch someone who would stand up for Americans.
Now Cruzer bash him.
When I read this I thought it was satire, expected Christie to endorse no one since he doesn’t like Cruz or Rubio, never liked Donald Trump either so this is a shock
If you live in NY then you are lost in the fog.
NYC will never vote for Trump over Hillary because the Dem machine won’t let it. Who ever wins NYC wins the state.
I get it you like your boy, try to stay in the reality that is the liberal NE.
It’s the smart move. Christie was always smarter.
Trump will choose a liberal, maybe even an actual RAT for VP.
Agreed.
I want to know what you would be saying right now if Christy came out today for Cruz.
[But then again, after Corzine and McGreevey maybe itâs not saying too much]
Corzine was a DISASTER!!! A dingleberry with an R after it’s name could win after that mess!!!
Unfortunately, NJ has State Senate President Steve Sweeney (Dem.) on deck for coronation as Gov., with no viable R alternative. This guy is Corzine times TEN!!!
And loosing Texas, and the rest of the south.
