The American people have weighed in on who "won" last night's GOP debate, and it's not even close.
Donald Trump, according to an Independent Journal Review poll conducted by Google Consumer Surveys.
Trump: 43.6% Rubio: 29.7% Cruz: 12.1% Kasich: 9.7% Carson: 5.0%
(The poll also named Ben Carson as the candidate Americans most wanted to exit the race).
Trump is the GOP frontrunner, having won 3 of the first 4 primaries, and he goes into Super Tuesday as the favorite nationwide.

If Trump wins Texas, I believe that Cruz will do the honorable thing...congratulate Donald and suspend his campaign...
If Cruz wins Texas (and he has a reasonable chance), I think he will continue through the next debates and at least March 15th...
Rubio is so far behind in Florida, I’m not sure he can make it up in time...very surprising that he is doing so poorly in his home state, even after Jeb left the race!?
Clearly the momentum is on Trump’s side...not sure that Rubio taking on Trump as a mini-me-Trump with a disparaging/insulting campaign style is going to have a yuge impact? It is certainly fun to listen to Rubio ridicule Trump, but there can only be one Trump! I think this new Rubio ploy just makes Rubio look stupid, hurts whatever chance he had as a viable VP.
Short of some hidden scandal or a sudden health issue...it looks like Trump may be on his way to the nomination...
Yes, Cruz has a chance to win Texas. Tuesday evening will be interesting. Rubio has less chance than a snowball in Hell to win Florida...and for a reason...too many people in Florida know him and do not like him. He is not running for a 2nd Senate term because he knows he would not be elected.
As I type this Rubio is going on in Georgia ranting about Trump hiring illegals to work in his many hotels. That is a bald faced lie...something Rubio is good at doing. At this point I know so much negatives about Rubio along with watching him now, to suggest that he borders on ‘evil’. He really is an ‘accidental candidate’, with no vetting, encouraged to run in order to help Yeb! nail down Florida. The establishment was so sure that Yeb! was gonna be their nominee.
BTW, I don’t see where there is any ‘fun’ in listening to a mouthy little runt like Rubio ridicule any candidate with lies. He has also done it to Cruz. That’s not so much ‘fun’, eh?

“Beating the snot out of Trump” by Cruz and especially Rubio was my personal observation of the debate...and was no slight to you personally! You may not like it, but Rubio turned the tables on Trump in the debate and Trump did not respond well...many pundits agreed that Rubio got the best of him. Frankly, Trump looked bad! Trump folks like you are clearly not rational enough to accept this...I understand!
With regard to your earlier “kind sentiment” to me suggesting that I commit suicide, I will still say a prayer for you tonight...that sort of very personal and potentially harmful “sentiment” is completely over the top...whoever you are, you are truly a reprobate for such an offensive statement! I imagine the only thing that would make you happier would be that someone actually takes their own life over a primary contest loss by their candidate...if this is what you really think, then you need to get your noggin straightened out...
Finally, you and many of the other Trump folks on this site should take great pride in the results thus far for your candidate...but, you should also keep in mind that Cruz supporters will have to go somewhere if your candidate does secure the nomination...but, you go right ahead and keep selling your Seppuku charms to everyone you disagree with...Higgy!
Rubio is the establishment’s way to dispose of Trump.
They fear Donald cause they can’t control his crazy ass.
Where as Rubio can be.
