WATCH THE VIDEO - No mater where you stand on Trump, it is a great analysis of how he's become the front runner.
When you think of the 2016 Presidential campaign, one name comes to mind - TRUMP. Every day, news stories come out about his inflammatory comments, his stubborn, unapologetic debate strategy...and that's EXACTLY the way he wants it. Trump is no traditional politician; his tactics come from somewhere else, and that place is REALITY TV. Trump's long history in reality television has given him the perfect strategic edge in the political arena, and so far he's winning the game of political Survivor that is the 2016 presidential race.

That's because Donald Trump isn't running a presidential campaign. He's playing a reality TV competition.
And it's taken someone who isn't a political pundit, but rather a TV and movie analyst on YouTube, to figure it out.
Matthew Patrick of The Film Theorists absolutely nails why Trump has captured the attention of so many people who otherwise don't even follow politics. It's because those people don't want to follow politics, but they don want to follow the drama of reality TV:
I think Cruz will be votes off the island next week
Trump is winning because the people of this country who have been clamoring for a candidate who would stop the illegal alien inundation finally have one.
I thinks so, too. Further, I suspect his prize is already agreed upon with the krintons.
This is a PROFOUND PREDICTION
Political science professor forecasts Trump as general election winner
The Statesman | February 23, 2016 | Christopher Cameron
Professor Helmut Norpoth's forecast presentation took place Monday evening in the SUNY Global Center in Manhattan, which was organized by the Stony Brook Alumni Association.
Norpoth created a statistical model of presidential elections that uses a candidate's performance in their party's primary and patterns in the electoral cycle as predictors of the presidential vote in the general election.
Donald Trump has a 97 percent chance of defeating Hillary Clinton and a 99 percent chance of defeating Bernie Sanders in the general election, according to Norpoth's formula.
"The bottom line is that the primary model, using also the cyclical movement, makes it almost certain that Donald Trump will be the next president," Norpoth said, "if he's a nominee of the [Republican] party."
Norpoth's primary model works for every presidential election since 1912, with the notable exception of the 1960 election. These results give the model an accuracy of 96.1 percent.

He’s successful because the rats and establishment really suck.
I think Cruz will be voted off the island next week
Have you seen how hard he is working? His lean mean campaign is a good sign. He is smart and intelligent man with mission and vision.
Hope you were wearing your tin foil hat when you typed that.
So Trump is an innovator in modern social media politics.
Nope. Just another infantile screed from someone desperately flailing around for a rationalization to explain why they are losing.
These sort of attacks are meaningless noise to a voters who’s son is overseas on his third deployment, his grand kids go to a gang infested incompetent Public School, who sees his urban area neighborhood deserving into BLM/drug gang thuggary, has been underemployed since 2008 and is scared to death his employer is going to move his new job to Mexico any day now.
So scream on children while the Adults keep working to save the country for you.
Kasich, Carson and Rubio should crew the boat that takes him.
Well then, many think Cruz realized his strategy of winning on the strength of hardcore conservates could never work because there aren’t enough of them, but because he knew that win or lose, a Presidential run would elevate his personal profile and enable him to be considered for a Supreme Court seat or as a high-paid partner in an elite law firm.
So, theories can be found everywhere, can’t they?
I have never witnessed thousands, 10,000 plus, waiting in line sometimes in inclement weather to see and hear a political figure like Trump. Never. No explanation needed.
Change is coming.
Trumpus Maximus Americannus!!!
Trump will fix none of those things. Keep believing in your little cult of personality.
If he’s not running, yet he has lapped the rest of the field, what does that say about the other candidates?
Thanks, but I already have one.
“Trump will fix none of those things.”
How do you know?
Would Cruz be able to do it?
For supposedly being “real conservatives”, and likely somehow thinking you have a direct line into the true soul of America, you seem to only have faith in existing elected career politicians to fix the problems in this nation.
We might do well to remember Obama's famous admonition upon winning the presidency:
"There's a difference between campaign rhetoric and governing."
Uhuh. And evidently so are Generation XBox Trumpanzees who PENN manufactured "confrontation" into "reality"... (and then retract it).

...round 2 a.m. on Sunday, we discovered from another Cruz staffer that the book in question in the video was the Bible, and we updated the post accordingly. But this significantly changed the meaning of Rubio's words as originally transcribed, as it now purported to show Rubio pointing to the Bible and saying "not a lot of answers in there." Later, the accuracy of that transcription was brought into question due to the unclear audio; upon returning to Philadelphia Sunday evening, we updated the post to reflect uncertainty over what was said...
But Cruz Communications Director Rick Tyler had shared the original post on Twitter and Facebook earlier Sunday.
