Cruz has made an error. He had the victory speech and he gave a long, rambling repeat of his stump speech. He’s got Glenn Beck out stumping for him.
His error is running for votes he already has. He’s a niche candidate and not running to be the general election candidate.
Colorado is a straw vote and no one participates in it. We won’t how Colorado goes until well after the primary is decided.

Are we following the same election? A poll out today finds Trump up by 14 points in Alaska. And another poll shows him leading in Oklahoma. Cruz may win Texas (likely narrowly if at all) but I think he's in trouble in all the others you mention.
