China warned the United States on Wednesday not to adopt punitive currency policies that could disrupt U.S.-China relations after Donald Trumpâs win in the Nevada caucus.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told reporters in Beijing that âwe are following with interest the U.S. presidential election.â
Hua was asked about Chinaâs response to a possible Trump presidency and his announced plan to punish China for currency manipulation with a tax on Chinese goods.
âSince it belongs to the domestic affair of the U.S., I am not going to make comments on specific remarks by the relevant candidate,â she said.
Yes indeedy. The ChiComs know the party will be over if Trump gets elected. So does Mexico.
“Hua Chunying told reporters” sum ting wong.
Another Trump endorsement!
Renegotiating our trade imbalances with the world will be messy, but it has to be done. We need to bring manufacturing back to the US. It’s madness how our own trade and tax plans actually encourage offshoring.
China is following our erection very carefurry.
Trump mentions those man made islands in the South China Sea on a regular basis...so its not just about currency manipulation.
After Trump wins the election the ChiComs will be calling up the Oval Office crying to Trump every other hour.
Thank you, CHY-NA! This should give another bump to Trump. Who the hell do they think they are, anyhow... warning the U.S.?
Sum ting wong. :-)
He's a deal maker, not a deal killer.
China will do well, but they won't rip us off any more.
You’ve nailed it.
Total world government debt exceeds $280 trillion with a world GDP of $78 trillion. Foreign trade makes up 59% of the world’s GDP
The U.S. has total government debt of $19.03 trillion with a U.S. GDP of $18.25 trillion. Despite the seriousness of our own debt issue, relative to the rest of the world, the U.S. is in much better shape. With 4% of the world’s population, we produce 23% of the world’s goods and services, making the U.S. the most efficient and productive nation on earth. Finally foreign trade accounts for 28% of our GDP. With imports running at 15% of GDP or less, the U.S. is considered a closed economy. And as our exports generally lag our imports by 2% or more, a reduction in world trade tends to improve our GDP.
The bottom line is that given effective leadership in the White House, the U.S. CAN call the tune and every other country WILL pay the piper. Or, they can watch their standard of living precipitously decline by half.
Thanks for posting. Great posts BUMP!
Illegals definitely don’t like him.
Also add:
GOPe doesn’t like Trump.
DNC doesn’t like Trump.
Limousine Hollywood liberals don’t like Trump.
Cheap Labor Express doesn’t like Trump.
Mainstream Media doesn’t like Trump.
But I agree with what you’re getting at.
Yes they will be calling Trump up saying “rets make a dear” :-)
Democrats, China, British Moslems, Saudi princesses, commie popes, radio cheapjacks and Yeb have convinced me.
I’m backing the right guy.
Carl Icahn will deal harshly with the Chinese and will have been unleashed by Trump. Hopefully Dirty Harry's son will no longer be the president of the $5 Billion Electric Generated from Sun Power farm on Federal land (sic the militia revolt where the Gubmint backed down)
... and under Monroe Doctrine they loose the “Panama style” Canal they are digging in Sandinista Land (Nicaragua) that none of the candidates mention, to say nothing about goodbye to the commies in Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, St. Kitts etc. perhaps even their new islands they are building... HOPE WE HAVE SOME CHANGE, not like the present guy.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying: “Oh, sum ting wong; Trump win!”
