Er, 1) the “big guns” have been out for Trump since June (nada) and 2) Cruz was always out of the way. Never a real contender despite $$ and effort.

No they haven't. Trump's mouth is the only thing thats given him trouble so far.
Cruz was the candidate they needed to get rid of.

All Trump has to do, is to ask them where their insistence about a candidate's past was, when it came to Obaama.
And then explain he's outing them as Dem moles within the GOP.
