Did not see any Spets in either the youtube vid or the Twitter link - looked like bunch were shot and fell where they lay. Was a vid of poorly trained SAA troops walking past a sniper hole being picked off one by one with the ones behind not stopping or taking cover just kept walking until the sniper shot them - these looked like those guys.

When they blew that Russian plane up in the Sinai I predicted that the Bear would begin to show its teeth. Years ago when a Russian agent was kidnapped and killed in Lebanon, the Russians tracked down the killers and delivered their dismembered bodies to Hezbollah. The plane explosion was the first attack on Russians in many years.

And now the Russians are heavily engaged in everything from Spetznaz raids to carpet bombing, including civilians and hospitals. They simply want to make a point: Do not mess with Russia.

We, on the other hand, have rarely shown any brutal resolve to retaliate.

Remember when Russian commandos retook a Russia ship that had been hijacked by Somali pirates? All the Somalis, living, dead and wounded were loaded on to their boat which was then peppered with gunfire and sunk. The video also appeared on YouTube. Interesting that no more Russian flagged ships have been hijacked.
