The writing is on the wall for Ted now and even though I stated I support Ted and still would vote for Trump in the national election.
However I think even the most ardent voter for Ted now would not put a few hundred on him to win the nomination now.

Beck was a massive failure, why oh why did he have Beck the loon there. His spokesman was an idiot who along with some others deserved and deserves to be fired.

The campaign relied on evangelicals when in reality there is not enough fo them and the myth of millions staying at home was not true.

Actually Trump is getting the evangelicals too. Franklin Graham has agreed with him on Iran, Muslims, Border Wall, Pope Francis and has made many more favorable comments about him. Also the other two evangelical candidates Huckabee and Santorum had nothing bad to say about Trump. And even requested to participate in his show to raise money for Vets. Also, even evangelicals know, we are all sinners.

Cruz on the other hand has been getting terrible advice from his advisors. It’s almost like they want him to lose. Hmmmm?? It’s hard to claim the evangelical highroad if you are rolling around in the mud with the rest of them. Trotting Beck around didn’t help.
