I don't see Rubio or Cruz making in roads on Trump support. He is solid at 33%. The only thing these guys can do is increase turnout.

But no one is talking about what Trump needs to do. He is on a narrow path to win the nomination with a plurality. However, this strategy relys on winner take all state which is only 16% of delegates. This means a victory in winner take all Florida for Rubio or Kasich in winner take all Ohio is a disaster for Trump. Then there is Texas that is a Hybrid that Cruz can take more delegates even in a loss.

So my point, what is Trump going to do to get Cruz voters to him. Insults won't work as supporter become more entrenched and consider Rubio as a fall back.

Narrow path? Hardly. Trump gets support across the board. Rubio and Cruz are on far more narrow path at this point. Rubio tactically hitting suburbs and Cruz with his one note social values campaign that has cratered. Now those are dead end primary season strategies. Trump’s path translates quite nicely to the general.
