That only applies to those with top shelf medical insurance. The rest of America? No so much.
The whole thing is stinky cheese. Now we will never know for sure.
It was NOT unattended. Having an ATTENDING physician means that you have a doctor with whom you have routine and usual contact and have been seen in a recent time frame,
QUIT IT! You apparently no nothing of how death is certified. And since you don’t you ought to be quiet. I have friends who certify all the time and they were not at all surprised by any of this
The family did NOT want an autopsy
the cause of death was natural .....it was not suicide or homocide.
apparently you don’t know much about certifying death of someone
That should be irrelevant if red flags exist.
What killed the man?
Yes he was a giant. But, smoking, over weight, diabetic and what ever. These are all controllable things. Yes he was a great man who could have taken better care of himself. He had a big deal job. It doesn’t matter now but it didn’t have to be.
You have heard of the term euphemistic you haven't you. That was how I was using the word "you". Again I apologize for not being more clear that I was not referring to you.
In no way was I questionings where you stood on the issue. I was merely stating that anyone who has the capacity, usually the corner, to determine cause of death, should never assume said cause of death. This is especially true when it involves an important person. Even more so when that passing presents serious consequences, that his known illness may have even been used to facilitate the passing in a nefarious manner. Then on top of it complicated by the unusual fact of a pillow being on his head. I can't say with certainty that sleeping with a pillow on one's head is not more common then I might imagine, but it should raise a red flag with a coroner that a full autopsy needs to be performed to eliminate any suspicion of foul play and avert controversy.
Quit trying to act the expert.
So should I assume you are a corner? Is that why you say with such certainty that it was natural?
If he were so sick why was he doing a lot of traveling?
No problem. I basically agree. Another red flag would be the man was not in his own bed at his own residence.
its good to know that once you get to age 79 nobody gives a rats ass how or why you die.
When someone lives large-and is large-like Scalia, they are a bomb that can detonate at any time-it has happened to more than one of my friends, and they were not close to 80. I’m in favor of living the way that makes someone happy, though- whatever that may be-an enjoyed life versus a boring long one...
Scalia’s family declined an autopsy-and since there was no evidence of foul play, the family’s wishes stood-the state can’t take possession of a deceased person against the family’s wishes unless there is evidence of a crime.
True, I hadn’t even thought of that. Good point.
Exactly, that is my understanding.
As for diabetes , I’ve seen diabetes kill 2 men in their 5os. Strokes , both of them. But a long list of other health issues leading up to death. Diabetes caused one of them to go completely blind , first. Then the stroke 5 years later.
What a life he led. A true American hero.
At his age Scalia should have laid off the ciggies. They are a killer!!
I agree.
Some people just love conspiracy theories.
Scalia was also confirmed to have eloquent conservatism and overflowing patriotism. Either condition could be deadly depending on the whim of the hateful thug currently occupying our White House.
