Before I donate again, I need to know that someone at FR is going to “fix the broken typewriter.” I think we do pay enough to have that problem fixed. There are FReepers who will volunteer to help but they are rebuffed? It’s nigh impossible to read this place since the punctuation problem. It can be fixed. Let’s do it.

While that is a problem, I’m not leaving Free Republic over it.

I’d imagine Jim doesn’t like things that detract from the forum any more than you do. I accept that it will be corrected in time.

Not trying to give you a hard time over it. There’s just some things in life I can fix, and others I have to accept.

“I think we do pay enough to have that problem fixed.”

What numbers do you have that makes you think that?

Without knowledge of what it costs to run this place without annoying ads I don’t see how you make the above remark.

I frequent other sites with more modern software. You can’t type 15 words a minute due to constant lockups from all the ads loading and trying to run. What happens here is fixable if one previews before posting.

I’ll take that trade any day over the other sites.
