The best jars are Classico spaghetti sauce. They are square, have good lids with an inner seal layer, and come in quart and pint sizes. I look for it on sale, and get a two-fer -- the sauce and the jar!

Will they work with Ball lids & rings? I go through so many jars making pickles, I could sure use a cheap source.

That pesto jar is about a cup, half a pint. It actually pretty good pesto for the price, I keep a few jars around.

I use Traders Joes pesto. Excellent quality. Taste homemade.
