Cold water, with a couple ice cubes to make sure it’s really cold...
Add salt (just a couple of shakes)
Add shrimp
Fill bag with water till running out top, then squeeze air out with some of the water so shrimp will be completely submerged.
If any stick above the top of the water, they will get freezer burn and will be inedible.

Far, far away, and a long time ago (70’s) we would buy shrimp off the boats fresh. We took them home and headed them, then threw the batch into empty square milk cartons. When portioned, just add the lightly salted water to them, and freeze upright. After frozen, you could stack them to take less space. ALWAYS date them!
