How do I freeze shrimp in water and salt? it actually works well?
My shrimp does have freezer burn issues more than anything else. I get maybe 6 months out of them.
Yeah - I do end up soaking the foil packages in warm water and peeling off the foil in order to microwave them, LOL!
Cold water, with a couple ice cubes to make sure it’s really cold...
Add salt (just a couple of shakes)
Add shrimp
Fill bag with water till running out top, then squeeze air out with some of the water so shrimp will be completely submerged.
If any stick above the top of the water, they will get freezer burn and will be inedible.
