I'm not sure where John Kasich spent the last several decades of his life, but I'm betting it wasn't in America.
On a campaign stop in Virginia this morning, Kasich took advantage of the events 'townhall' format to wax poetic about the uptick in support for his fourth place Presidential campaign. According to the Ohio governor, the turnout to volunteer for him has been nothing short of astounding. Why, the women-folk have even dropped their dirty dishes, put down their pasta pots and have left their kitchens for the first time since dedicating themselves to a life of housewifery to make phone calls on his behalf.
Or something.

Well, that will ruin his presidential chances....
Great comment John! /s
Even the pregnant ones? Now THAT’S what I call loyalty.

Oh boy... and this is my Governor.
They (today’s demoncratic women-in-name-only) would have never voted Kasich under any circumstances: Hillary was ALWAYS Kasich’s intended opponent - if Bush, Christie, Pataki, Rubio, and Graham were not available to be defeated by her mainstream media.
Funny thing is, I’m not really able to tell you if those who promoted Kasich (and Bush, Christie, Pataki, Rubio, and Graham and even Fiorino) were on the repubbie side, the democrat side, or both.)
I was trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Now I know...Put down the crack pipe John. Just put it down and back away, all the way to Ohio.
We were in a small meeting once...maybe just a hundred people in an EMT bay, iirc. We were on folding chairs and the governor came in and was given the microphone. He spoke for about an hour and a half. And it was real love your neighbor, lift him up, help us be better people kind of stuff.
It would have fit perfectly in Sunday School. I’m serious.
And he was as sincere as could be. You could just tell it really came from his heart.
If there’s anyone running who missed his calling as a priest, it is that one. It makes me smile thinking about it even now.
Many conservative women are proud to serve their husbands in a traditional way, and likewise many husbands still appreciate and reciprocate in kind. My marriage is like this.
Boneheaded statement for Kasich to make this day and age, but I can’t fault him for making it, he’s just showing his age.
Another reason women shouldn’t have the vote....unless they own property separately from any husband or estate.
Don’t count him out! Sometimes it just takes a little more time for the older guys to gain some momentum.
