Cruz: We Cannot Let This Guy Get Away
NR.Net ^ | February 21, 2016 | Lloyd Marcus

Posted on 02/22/2016 9:09:14 AM PST by GodGunsGuts

My wife Mary and I are in Nevada with our Conservative Campaign Committee team campaigning for Ted Cruz. We awoke this morning to snow. Mary asked me to walk several blocks from our hotel to Walgreen's to pick up a few things. With my headset plugged into my smart phone, I listened to Ted Cruz's press conference during my trek.

Wow! Cruz's brilliant bold performance at that press conference showcased why America desperately needs Ted Cruz in the White House. The MSM (Democrat operatives) tried to use Obama's talking points to pressure Cruz and the GOP into allowing Obama to appoint a flaming liberal to the Supreme Court in his remaining months. Cruz did not fall for it. He firmly said no; not happening.

Cruz went on to say: "And I believe we should make 2016 a referendum on the US Supreme Court. If the Democrats want to jam in a liberal judicial activist to undermine the First Amendment, to undermine the Second Amendment, to take away our religious liberty, we should make that an issue for the American people."

"We should not confirm a justice nominee during an election year, particularly with a lawless president who has undermined the Constitution at every stage."

Folks, Republicans simply do not tell the no-holds-barred truth about Obama like that. It just isn't done! http://bit.ly/1Qodym0/a>

Later, a CCC team member sent me video of Ted Cruz featured on CNN's Republican Presidential Town Hall hosted by leftist operative Anderson Copper.

Once again, Cruz's confident stature and performance blew me away. With a smile, Cruz brilliantly touted Conservatism despite being in the belly of the leftist beast; in the presence of his enemies. Cruz boldly rebuked Planned Parenthood for possible criminal activity winning him audience applause.

In other words, Cruz remained Cruz; no moderating his message to pander to liberals and low-info CNN viewers. http://bit.ly/1RSW0xu Now that's what I'm talkin' about folks.

A stirring in my soul told me, "Oh my gosh, as patriots, we can not allow this man to get away; blow this extremely rare opportunity to elect a true thoroughbred conservative Reaganite - only to allow Cruz to fade away into the sunset.

Ted Cruz is truly the one that we have been waiting and praying for. Obviously empowered by his faith and the knowledge that he has right on his side, Cruz confronts the GOP establishment, the Democratic Party and their MSM henchmen. Cruz boldly demands, let my people go.

In the current political matrix, Ted Cruz is "The One."

Thank you so much for that loving picture of a mother an her child, it certainly brings to mind a Heavenly Father who loves his Child Cruz and his supporters so much that he will say to him.

SON: "Greater is HE (your heavenly father) that is you, than he (trump) that is in the world".

Oh, please! Your ignorance is showing and it isn’t becoming to someone who espouses to be a conservative. Try citing ONE example of Cruz being in this race for ‘himself’ and his Messiah complex.

Name one lie that Ted Cruz told. And I’m not talking about any campaign antics his staff pulled.

If Cruz and his campaign can’t get the ‘little’ things right, and this FEC ‘ding’ is a fairly simple thing to comply with, how can he or the people he appoints be trusted with actual important tasks? How many times has Cruz had to apologize now for the ‘mistakes’ of his campaign folks??

Actually, I think we can let him go away....and we should.

No stink will ever adhere to Sen Cruz more than his antics with Dr. Carson, which one of the networks referred to at the time as “the most beloved of the GOP candidates.” Although there is plenty other stink out there involving Sen Cruz.....and knowing how they roll....there is more stink to come.

I’m ashamed to say that once I got over Scott Walker, I briefly considered Cruz. But then I realized that I had more in common with Trump’s positions. But I said, often, on this board, that I would be tickled if Trump appointed him to SCOTUS. My history is check-able on this. But I would not be in favor of Trump appointing him to a lifelong post now. He has proved to me to have no moral underpinnings, no inner “stop, this is no good” thing to him, as long as he is going for a win.

You can yell “constitutional conservative” all you want, but when you are willing to lie to the face of the entire country and then to the man you lied about....frankly, I don’t need you. For anything. Ever.

He can’t get away fast enough for me, in fact.

—I kind of like him in the Senate as the key obstructionist of almost every issue.—

If he becomes President, we don’t need an obstructionist in the Senate.

Your welcome, glad to give you a little bit of scripture. I pray you know the meaning.

Made this error though: left out a word "in"

SON: "Greater is HE (your heavenly father) that is in you, than he (trump) that is in the world".

2016 is a referendum on the ECONOMY.

No, it's not. 2016 is a referendum on political elitism. Even people who are doing okay economically are totally pissed off at the political elites in Washington. We want their head on a platter.

I'm praying for God's will to be done.

Yet you're supporting a Democrat.

2016 is a referendum on the ECONOMY.

If that is the case, then it's a lock for the GOP candidate. So why screw it up by nominating a Democrat when we're guaranteed getting a Conservative?

Good luck getting an answer to that one. I am still seeing Trump supporters claiming that Cruz voted for TPA even after being provided the actual roll call votes. The truth simply isn’t in these people. They are angry and in full wall-punching mode. And before they are done, there will be no structure standing.
