Jeb, the Unluckiest Bush
Politico ^ | 2/21/16 | MATT LATIMER

Posted on 02/21/2016 8:03:35 PM PST by jimbo123

I'm feeling bad for Jeb Bush. I've never been a supporter of a third Bush presidency-having endured the highs and lows of the second up close-but I can't help but think about this coming Easter or Thanksgiving, or the next event when the whole Bush family is gathered around in one place.

The Bushes may come across as kindly, low-key aristocrats. But have no doubt: They are ruthless competitors. When I worked for President George W. Bush, he was racing Karl Rove to see who could read the most books in a calendar year. His father used to challenge people to games of horseshoes and speed golf. They are Trumpian in that way; winning matters in that family. A lot.

So how exactly does Jeb Bush look at a father who succeeded to the highest levels of power, whose approval is so obviously crucial to his psyche ("my dad is probably the most perfect man alive"), and not feel like he was the son who failed him?

How does he turn to George W., his perennially underestimated older brother-the so-called "dumb one"-who pulled off the same feat as their dad, and not feel the lesser man?

How does he cope with the fact that his failed campaign, for which his family's hopes were so high, marked instead the end of their long dominance of the machinery of the Republican Party?

Is this a joke?

Lucky in fantasy football, unlucky in politics.

I'm feeling bad for Jeb Bush

Not I; defeat couldn't have happened to anyone else more deserving!

Speed golf? That sounds really gay.

Hey listen, Matt Latimer, people started waking up to the Bushes. It took us a while, but we’ve pretty much got their number now.

At least I thought so, until today I listened to an interview Lew Rockwell had with Roger Stone. Mr. Stone revealed so much more than I ever imagined. As I said in another thread, it helped me understand more clearly WHY they betrayed us.

I find it ironic Matt Latimer would describe Jeb as the best of the Bush Presidents.

Huh? A guy who can’t manage to run his own campaign, isn’t fit to be a janitor much less than occupy the most powerful office on earth.

No one will miss Jeb. Good riddance!

I wouldn’t worry too much. I have a feeling Jeb has been riding the short bus for a long time. He’s probably used to it by now.

The Bushes have been a crime family for more than a century. They are drug smugglers, drug users, sexual perverts, war profiteers, warmongers, supporters of Hitler and other tyrants, involved in the JFK and Reagan shootings, etc.

Any Repub commentator who pays the customary obeisance to the Bushes’ “patriotism,” “decency,” etc., is exposing himself as a hack.

Agree 100%.

Here is something you will find interesting. It’s an interview with Jay Dyer who has degrees in Philosphy, Religion and Film.

He analyzes movies for propaganda and predictive programming.

Here he analyzes the Godfather series. He shows that it really explains how the world works. Very good (it covers all the basics)

Here’s a tool to download it to a file (mp3) if you want.

I'm feeling bad for Jeb Bush.

Yeah, what a tragedy. Millionaire, former governor, son and brother of former presidents. But he doesn't get to be president himself, as he was promised by his parents. I'll weep for Jeb's troubles tonight.

Jeb will go back to his being 6’3” and Columba Bush will remain 5 feet tall, and all will be well with their world. The odd couple.

What about the head of North Korea? He could truthfully say, “My brother went to Disneyland and all I got was this lousy country!” ;-)

For those that don’t know, Kim Jong-un’s older brother sneaked into Japan and the Japanese Disneyland and got caught. That was part of the reason he never became leader of North Korea. ;-)
