Cruz said he had them (cough) sealed.
Iowa and NH are both liberal. Ted won Iowa. SC is considered a conservative state, yet he came in 3rd there. Your reasoning is faulty.
Trump had Falwell and Rubio had governor, etc. and Cruz was suppose to win???? Who said Cruz was supposed to win??? lol
But Falwell jr. is a Trumpster...don’t tack Falwell on Cruz.
h/t monk
Are you serious?? What is going on? If the 'pub establishment is really uneasy of a Cruz candidacy, wouldn't they demand to see those papers?
I don't think it's true, but I did have a fleeting thought wondering if Cruz wasn't a front man for the elite, posing as a conservative. If there's something about that US birth certificate (or whatever that paper is) he'd be completely malleable.
Ted being Canadian did not help him any. I did read an article on FR about SC democrats voting republican against Trump.
Ok. Bad choice on my part. I’d forgotten that endorsement.
But I’m sure you know where I was going. The Dems HATE God and will use that against Ted.
I just think Cruz is getting some bad advice from his high paid advisors. He overplayed the religious theme. IMO
Well, let's hope our "calls" reach the ears of the leaders in Cruz and Trump's campaigns so they will call a truce long enough to stop Rubio.
Otherwise, I'm afraid all of our "resistance" against the GOPe will have been for nothing.... and Rubio will be performing a "happy dance" all the way to the White House
I am dying to hear Levin & Rush spin Cruz’s performance in SC, on Monday.
More precisely and to this point— what were the counties Rubio lost to Cruz— because there were some, for certain.
IOW Cruz is saying Rubio’s support in SC was a mile wide and 1/4 inch deep. Trump’s— not the same obviously, but trump did not win in Columbia or Charleston, which Rubio did win.
Oh I can’t wait ...and don’t forget crazy Beck ...let’s see how they demonize Trump for this one
Come on, Cruz IS a CAREER POLITICIAN. Why would you expect anything except spin spin spin.
Not me - I haven’t listened to either one for the past 6 or 7 weeks - on to Nevada! Viva Las Vegas!!!

I have no doubt, but 90+% are Trump people and maybe a few Carson even though Trump treatment of Carson was far worse.
But among the 60+% of the electorate not voting for Trump his negatives are extremely high, as I said either you like Trump or you don’t there is little middle ground.
Ohhhhhh.
That’s good.
That's because Trump has NBC privilege.
For closed minded people that might be the case. Trump grows on you. When you can tell when he's being provocative vs when he really means it, you'll start appreciating what a really funny sense of humor he has. He's got that kind of mind that plays with ideas. Sometimes what he puts out there is an idea that's forming, not a fully developed conclusion.
Besides that, he's a force of nature. Think back to the beginning of the campaign, when the ptb were throwing everything imaginable at him. Who else could've survived that onslaught? Folks are enjoying not being slaves to politically correct speech. Add to that, his campaign is FUN, and you'll begin to see why he keeps drawing more people in.
I find that the more you are exposed to him the more he grates on ones nerves. Braggarts are like that even well meaning and humorous ones.
I stand by me statement you either like Trump or you don’t no middle ground.
That is true about Trump’s negatives. But I don’t think they are locked in place.
I used to detest the man, now I don’t.
As far as what Trump said about Carson, yes it was wrong to make the analogy that he made. I don’t think Carson is presidential material, but you don’t make a comparison of any kind to a child molester. It’s outrageous to even use that as an example of anyone who isn’t actually a child molester. So Trump was clearly in the wrong there. if I was him, I wouldn’t have done it, and I would have apologized if I did. It’s just not kosher.
However, it’s not as serious as what Cruz did, and here’s why. Trump’s wrongful example was made at a time when Carson had plenty of time to respond to it, challenge it, or whatever he wanted to do.
Cruz took his action at a time when there was no going back, no undoing it. Whatever damage it was going to do, it did.
I do not know if it changed any actual votes, but it had the potential to. So really, it was a scoundrel thing to do in my assessment.
It’s not what I would expect of a man who claims to be moral. I mean really, it’s not.
I’m not just saying this because I prefer Trump either. If someone does something that I object to, I’m going to say it, whether it’s my guy or not. I have to remain true to myself first and foremost.
I think Ted made a costly mistake that day.
