I have to confess I am truly sick of these overly ambitious men who get elected to do a job, then immediately start to run for a higher job. How about just doing the job you were elected to do, and serve a full term? THEN if you have a record of success, by all means, move up. Don’t do it after less than 1/3 of your elected term. And when you do choose to try to move up, give up the seat you hold, don’t hold onto it as a safety cushion. /end of rant
Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Agree 100%. Trump does not need CRuz....for anything.
Ted tied for second
Marco was 5’th from last
Really? for Trump? that many to give Trump the margin of victory? I mean you're talking 75,000 votes.
I like that proposal. Freshmen senators have no business running for President. Zero being a perfect example.
So Bush effectively tied Cruz ...
True but useless. Both Cruz and Rubio got zero delegates per news reports. So, and I’ve been using Hillary’s famous line a lot -”-what dambed difference does it make, anyway?” ( may this be chiseled on her gravestone)
I think I saw an exit poll where they estimated less than 2% of the vote was cross-over voters. The Sanders/Hillary battle is too close for the democrats to worry about what is going on in the GOP primary.
You talking about the evangelicals?
They were 75% of the voters, and Trump won that demographic.

I agree. And there’s no double voting. If you voted in the R, you can’t vote in this week’s D.
If it makes you feel better to think Trumps yuuuge victory in SC was due to crossovers, by all means continue to think that. But if you’re an engineer, you should know better, simply ‘by the numbers.’ There is no way there were that many crossover voters, per exit polls and just the reality of the situation on the D side. Across the spectrum of R voters, Trump won. Period. He didn’t need crossovers.
I said it would be good for Cruz. If he wants to stay in this game past NV, he needs to think smart.
I didn't, however, say Trump would do it. I was looking at the situation through Cruz's viewpoint.
Amen!
So?
Jeff Roe had a mixed record in Missouri and was accused of using dirty tricks. Guess Cruz is getting the staff he deserves.
I don’t know where you got the information that Trump got more cross-over ever votes...
I’d be very happy to read the references. Please feel free to post, and ping me if you do.
All of the anecdotal evidence from the exit interviews showed dems voting for Kasich and Rubio in an attempt to shape’ the race with a more ‘acceptable’ republican candidate.
From the exit polls:
Less than 4% of voters were non-white. (They didn’t shape the race)
Urban voters are one of the categories Rubio won, meaning urban libs didn’t flock to Trump.
Trump scored almost there same percentage among republicans as he did independents (32/33) and Dems made up only 2pct of the vote.
** It’s also worth noting, the exit polls were completely consistent with the final vote tally.
So, again, if you know of other information available to back up your claim that your statements are a truth that everyone knows, please post and please ping me. I’m interested in relevant and verifiable information, regardless of whom it favors.
Q. - How bad is it?
A. - So bad, that if there is ever another politician asking for this vote I’s tell them to kiss my grits and call me in the morning. There is NOTHING worse than a lying politician, deceitful, petty, weasels. Enough with the “I did the best I could.” That excuse will no longer work. Your best wasn’t near good enough and in the land of reality - YOU LOSE!
