After meeting with Ted Cruz's presidential campaign, Hispanic conservative leaders are expressing concern that the Texas senator is in favor of "self-deportation," an immigration position that helped defeat the last Republican nominee.
Speaking with reporters Monday ahead of the fifth GOP debate, an influential group of Latino Republicans said campaign officials impressed upon them in a closed-door meeting that Cruz supports "attrition through enforcement." That view, one of the leaders said, assumes that once certain enforcement measures are put in place, "there'll be no need for legalization because there will be no undocumented immigrants in the country."

Delusional
Thank you!
I don’t trust Cruz or Trump on this issue. Cruz has the better official position now, because Trump is for touchback amnesty. But Cruz has been too cagey on this for too long and is funded by too many pro-amnesty big donors for me to trust him on it now.
I’ve always said I want to know how they’d vote if they were the tie breaker.
Here we go again. Only the liberal republican can win in the general. Gee, where have I seen that before.
Trump supporters keep believing the polls...
Those same polls say Trump won’t beat Hillary.
Irrespective I don’t trust Trump. Anyone who was as close to Hillary as Trump was cannot possibly be trusted. We would do better to re-nominate Romney. His flip flops were not nearly as dramatic as Trumps.
4.. or 8.. maybe 12... or was it 16 years ago? or all of the above?
Because unlike Trump, Cruz would beat Hillary I suppose.
Well he polls almost 10 pts better against clinton than Trump does. his immigration plan is also tougher.
Trump IS the liberal Republican. If he’s a Republican at all. There is nothing about him that says conservative except possibly the illegal immigration issue. But even Sanders is opposed to illegal immigration so I’m not even sure he’s conservative on that.
I think you might get to see just how dumb YOU sound once this race gets real.
Way more likely Trump than Bill, that’s a given.
The Trump fans don't care about facts like that.
Regardless if one is for or against Trump, it is quite plausible that if either Cruz or Rubio were no longer in this race at the moment, Trump could lose the nomination.
In this light, it is in Trumps best interest if Rubio and Cruz stay at it a bit longer.
Cruz better pass out more soccerballs! Oh wait, now he’s “tough.”
Too many political junkies believe in polls over real numbers. Polls with sample of 300 which get extrapolated to represent millions of people is more truth worthy than actual votes of millions of real people
truth=trust
