Cruz’s antics in Iowa have angered Carson, and Carson has the money to stay in all the way to the end.
One could reasonably say that Carson took Cruz down yesterday. Carson’s 7% would have put Cruz in contention as the 2nd place finisher had they gone to Cruz. Carson is determined that will not happen.

Read my latest post on this. The first media to report this (and the source for all later reports) was “The Daily Beast” (which admits that the Carson campaign was their source) even though they claimed there were reporters in the hallway while the meeting was going on, thus proving that Cruz had leaked the story. But none of those alleged reporters wrote or said a PEEP about the “scoop” they were so eager to get. The ONLY story was The Daily Beast story - informed by the CARSON campaign - claiming that Carson was upset that the story had gotten out before that (but it HADN’T).
Liars.
Carson has a campaign?
I assumed his run consisted entirely of whining and moaning incessantly during long hours of free Fox airtime.
More and more Cruz reminds me of George Grizzard in the movie ‘Advise and Consent.’

Ben Carson got 50k votes in SC. Ted Cruz lost 2d place to Marco Rubio by 1100 votes. Carson is the only candidate with a pot of religiously motivated voters who may be looking for a new candidate soon.
Cruz needs Carson’s voters. Cruz therefore needs Carson’s endorsement. This is the second time Ted Cruz has been too clever by half— first was the voting report card he issued.
Hey no offense but I don’t know how others feel but when I see a 2 full screen post I rarely read them because most often it is a cut and paste from somewhere else where I either read it before or is 95% already posted.
I early voted Friday in Texas and I will say this, if all those machines are computers how frigging hard is it to erase peoples names who have dropped out.
I stand corrected on my Trump/Carson ticket.
I’m thinking maybe Trump/Kasich because he’ll deliver Ohio and he’s an insider who can show Trump or help Trump navigate a huge huge bureaucracy.
As a young’un, I never realized how big the federal government was until I was stationed at the San Diego Naval Base. I will never ever forget it. I looked around and including the mothball saw it seemed like 100s of ships and thousand of people going here and there. I’m telling you I was in awe thinking OMG and Uncle Sam pays all these people and this is only 1 base.
Until recently I had never heard the word trillion spoken in public outside of a math class. Now our budget approaches 5 trillion.
What scares me even more is the fed now know that QE1,2,3 and 4 did nothing but prop up the stock market and banks. So now they’re talking negative interest rates but they know too that that won’t increase consumer spending either because people will draw out cash and hold it rather than not only receive zero interest but negative interest rates.
So what’s their plan now “Helicopter drop” to people who they think will spend it.
Deficits be damned, full speed ahead.

He would have to be stupid to apologize for something he did not do. Cruz is not stupid, just corrupt.
I am presuming that Carson is a free man.
That Cruz did not keep him there Against his will.
If the man can't keep track of 5 minutes versus twenty and if he can't walk out the door past a man everyone has presented as some sort of 'lying' 'greasy' 'cream puff' 'pussy' 'too weak to be president', then Carson just doesn't have it.
This bullshit implies that it is Cruz' fault Carson was late.

This is soft smear tactics, giving the impression something is done to him by Cruz without the balls to just come out and lie.
I am not familiar with the movie. I still cannot believe he won nothing in South Carolina... And it is as if that reality escaped him and everyone plugged into his campaign.

Cruz has not lost 2nd place. All news outlets this morning are still not calling it. Its pretty much a tie. At this point, I hope both Trump and Cruz start hammering Rubio. Rubio is a liar and I will keep repeating that he is a liar because folks need to know.
Carson and his team are liars. They knew Cruz had not leaked the story of this meeting, because THEY reported it to The Daily Beast, which was the first report on it and the source for all later reports.
Cruz’s team had simply passed on to others what CNN had reported - based on the accurate information that Carson’s own team had told CNN. Carson’s team clarified in a tweet that Carson WOULD campaign (which he actually didn’t). Cruz apologized for not passing on the correction when they found out about it later in the evening. Carson would not truly forgive Cruz and everybody jumped on the chance to paint Cruz as a slimy liar, though nobody could point out to me the factually inaccurate words that Cruz’s team knew to be factually inaccurate. Didn’t matter; truth mustn’t stop a good lynching - not even by the so-called “good Christians” here on FR. It’s STILL going on.
But this - there is no doubt that this was a deliberate lie to frame Cruz for something he did not do, in order to libel his character.
Despicable. Carson is not the good man I thought he was. And neither are a lot of Freepers that I once respected.

Thank you... at least you are affirming what I read... I cannot understand why anyone thinks Carson owes Cruz anything.
He apologized because they didn’t get the report corrected when they found out Carson was going to claim to still be campaigning.
Basic reading comprehension, if you read Cruz’s statement.
