Effectively, yes. And isn’t that EXACTLY what happened to Romney? Millions of Republicans just stayed home. I don’t think it will be any different with Trump. His negatives are way too high among Republicans. He has offended to many people, changed his story too many times, changed positions too many times, and clearly has no conservative bona fides. Many people assume he is saying whatever will get him votes. I don’t doubt his native intelligence. I just have no reason whatsoever to believe he holds views all that similar to mine.
