Do you want to come to Alaska and widen the bathroom door? Mom’s walking is not going so well. I’m thinking of having a 36” door put in her bathroom. I think the vanity would not be in the way, but a bit of the end of the closet will be needed. By adding 6 to 8 inches she could get past the door. And backing out is something she might be able to do with some extra space...still not enough space to turn around, but it might do the trick.
