On Friday Breitbart News published an exclusive interview with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council President Chris Crane. In the interview, Crane details how "law enforcement was treated like absolute trash" by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and the Gang of Eight, who "saw law enforcement as the enemy."
Crane, who is himself an ICE officer of 13 years, was also a U.S. Marine and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as a lifetime member of the the American Legion.
In response to Crane's interview, Marco Rubio appeared on Fox News and denounced Crane and his service to his country. "He's not an ICE official. He's the head of a union," Rubio declared. "That individual is not an ICE official; he's the head of a union," Rubio said, repeating himself later in the interview.
Senator Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)- who led the opposition to Rubio's Obama-backed 2013 amnesty bill- weighed in on the matter this afternoon. An advanced copy of Sessions' response was provided to Breitbart News:

Rubio is called a liar because he demonstrably is one.
Romeo is an open boarder Hispanic. Not to be trusted.
Exactly. And as a Floridian, I know all too well what Rubio is. I am no Trump supporter but if it came down to Trump and Rubio for the nom, Id vote for Trump. Really cant stand Rubio. If he will lie to the people of Florida he will lie to the entire country.
It’s about time Rubio get swiftboated.
I wonder how Rush will spin this away for his newly anointed disciple and heir of Reagan.
I kind of hoping that both Trump and Cruz take advantage of this. I know the bromance is over but someone needs to REALLY call out Rubio for what he really is.
Ive been disappointed with Rush lately.
Way to go, Sen. Sessions!
On the Levin show this week, Sessions said that the Gang didn't take advice from anyone other than pro-amnesty people, and crafted the bill behind closed doors.
Sessions also refuted Rubio's current excuse that Rubio really didn't really like the Senate bill and expected it to get amended in the House. Sessions said he never heard that at the time, and that the Senate bill very nearly passed the House "as is," being stopped only by Cantor's primary defeat scaring the RINOs.
Sessions had to be among the first to be on to Rubio. Jeff, no showboat himself, as opposed to Cruz, just kept his head down, continued his work quietly, kept lighting fires under Marco’s rump and went about setting the real and meaningful fires against the Gang of 8, and the TPA/TPP.
Too bad Cruz was all pony show and working with the puppeteers on TPA, rather than listening to Jeff screaming in his ear about real and bad outcomes from voting *for* TPA. Climbers gotta climb.
I was listening to Levin last monday when he spoke with Sessions. Sessions was right and he also said that Cruz was right there with him (Sessions) on the Gang of 8. Cruz has never been for amnesty and I am sick of the lies people spread about it.
In that interview, Sessions also reminded Mark that Cruz went to the House and lobbied them to defeat the bill.
Mark was delighted to hear that (he had forgotten it).
sessions is the gold standard in the gop. in fact he’s long been first on my wish list for president—in any party—not because i always agree with him, but because he’s shown himself to be intelligent, honorable, dignified, and statesman-like—not a lying, two-face, do-nothing opportunist like rubio.
Yes he did. I really hope the people of SC see right thru Rubio. I can tell you that after Rubio lied to Floridians, there is no chance in hell that he will win FL. I see Trump coming in first and Cruz in second. But we will see.

Nuff said.
Cruz squandered his reputation for being more trustworthy than the others with his “do whatever it takes to win” campaign. Does ANYONE have a clue what he’s been thinking, following this path?
This 'Cruz is dishonest' line is a political tactic transparently intended to reduce him in the one area he has a clear advantage from the others in the field.
As opposed to every other candidates do whatever it takes to win campaign.
HOORAY Chris Crane
HOORAY Jeff Sessions
And stealing votes from the vulnerable black candidate? How's that for framing a candidate for the party that wants to appeal to a diverse population? The argument "he didn't steal votes yada, yada,...." doesn't hold water. It's been forever framed in those terms.
