I admire people who have the opportunity, are that focused on a goal, dedicate their life, and drive to completion of those goals.

So when I address these people, I don’t mean to belittle their achievement. It’s impressive.

Push comes to shove, can they actually function in a contemporary setting? Can they deal with everyday people in a social manner? Will their life be a normal fulfilling life?

It takes different things for people to be happy. Achieving those goals may have been 80% of their happiness. Achieving in the real world may be the end big goal, but not necessarily.

Two Doctorates makes you wonder if she wasn’t happy with the first, or if it was in the same field.

I think it’s great that there are so many different people out there. Man would it be a boring world if we were all alike.

Thanks for your additional comments.

Thanks for your reply !

To give you another idea of this poor girl’s situation, she was a single Mom (not her choice), and had to import her mother from overseas, to raise the kids, an eight and ten year old were basically telling her to get lost, whenever she would ask for their attention, when they were on their smart phone, or Ipad, as an example....
