Inman and Travelers Rest police officers gathered at Los Cabos Bar & Grill on Friday night for dinner with their families....

Paris said a woman had walked into the restaurant to pick up a to-go order and noticed the officers dressed in uniform. The customer paid for the entire group's meal and left the note to pass along.

Poor use of “Good Samaritan,” which connotes a person who helps an injured person. “Generous person” is much more accurate.

Most women have excellent handwriting, most men, not so much. You can almost always tell when a women writes something as opposed to men, and I’m a guy:)

Tax-chick, you make an interesting point, that the officer in question was not physically injured.
However, IMHO, I think it is possible that one can make a case that ALL of our officers are under grave moral assault. All of the men and women in our thin blue line are reeling from the injuries from certain quadrants of government and culture and media upon them these days. So, one truly can make a case that the fellow diner was indeed a “Good Samaritan.”
